Yeah I know it does not increase horsepower but the throttle response and shift point change the driving dynamic considerably to the positive. If I stated that I should have said “it feels much more powerful” ;-)

Ignore my horrible soldering job. Found out the hard way that old solder loses its flux. Went to thinner, newer solder and my job looked great. I think the solder I had was my grandfathers.

I did my first 350 miles in my 2.3 4DR MT non-sas and averaged 19.5 mostly back roads and 100 miles of that was in Sport mode which is awesome. In sport mode the 2.3 with 32” tires has plenty of power. I think it would be fine with 33’s, not sure for my driving habits I’d go 35” with the 2.3...

I could probably do that as I had cut off the harness from the speaker and still have it. Will check today. Thanks

I actually bought the kappas for the 6.5. Have not installed yet. In the front the infinity’s sound good at low volume but distort above 18 volume. I think I am going to try to some bass blockers on both 4” speakers. 600hz and see how they sound.

Put it in Sport mode and try it again. My manual 2.3 is a different truck in sport mode, much faster.

I have MGV and they do get hot, not sure leather would be much cooler, and I think they will hold up better than leather. Dog jumped in the bronco and it cleaned up really easily.
