Yeah mine did too until I Installed the infinity kappa 6.5”s then I lost a lot of bass and they sounded to pitchy. But hey it’s just one man’s opinion. I think the fact the factory is not a coaxial it drives more bass than the coax kappa…. But I’m not an expert . The bass blockers on the 4”...

Funny but at the same time kind of sad. All these people jacked up to trick out their Bronco with no car in sight.

I put 0-200hz bass blockers on the front speakers and it made a tremedous difference in sound quality on the Infinity setup. I had tried 600hz and it was not for me, I felt it blocked too much tone on these specific speakers. Needless to say I am now happy with this configuration and will not...

I went with the infinity 4” and infinity kappa 6.5” and I honestly think it sounds worse than stock. I do not have the polarity wrong triple checked it all. I wonder if going with a 6.5” component speaker is a better option as opposed to a coax. I might put the factory 6.5’s back in or take it...

Flip I tried the 600HZ bass blockers and for my ears they blocked too much bass....were you pleased with the sound with those installed...like was it night and day? Thinking maybe I should try it again. I have 300hz coming in this week, was going to try those.

Nice Flip…. Very helpful. Got my 4 pin harness today and it fit perfectly, it also combined the two positive and two negative leads. So I assume I just plug those into the positive and negative on the 6.5”. Seemed to work. The sound is pretty good but I still think the bass out of the factory...

My carplay works fine plugged into the standard USB port. I just plugged it in, give it 5 seconds and the Carplay icon shows up on the lower left of the screen, 2nd option over. I have not tried it wirelessly, did not see an option for that, But standard Bluetooth seemed to work fine as well.

Did you have success with those? Maybe they look like a fit for 4” but not 6.5” the 6.5 are 4 pin and i ordered those.

I still find the music sounds like crap with these new Inifity's, and I doubt very much it is the speakers. More like user error. I just think there is something going on with that 6.5"/4" wiring that optimizes those factory speakers. The depth of bass is so much better on the factory speakers...

Thanks man....I'm thinking based on what I am seeing that the positive feed for the kick panel and 4" front speaker are all powered together. I don't see how it could be done any other way. Flip for shits and giggles I created two more short speaker leads and wired all the positive wires...

Flip can I ask you a dumb question? I put my infinity's in, thy installed great, I have the boom mat in place, I wired a positive and negative lead speaker wire into them. To test this out from the lead wire I just pushed the Positive wire into the blue wire on the adapter and the negative...

That sucks....I worry about doing the same thing. It won't fit in my garage with the top in Position 1, so I close it and don't latch it, so I can flip it back up when I pull out, and am worried I will forget.

Maybe it’s a poor design and Ford refuses to admit it? If so tooling may never make a difference??? Not saying it is, just asking the question. Give me a factory 2 door soft top and I’m happy
