Yes that is it. In the pic to get the RF tire to turn it would need a awful lot of force. It is just not meant to do it.

At that angle not moving that is a lot of weight for that rack to not just turn the wheels but also move the Bronco. Even if it was a box on frame it would be the same without ram assist to help.

Exactly Driving down the road and rock crawling not the same. Even with a frame mounted steering box it's not designed for that much force. With steering linkage a hydraulic ram could be added to make it move. Then reinforcing everything else so it doesn't break.

Why did you use two different manufacturers for skid plates?

Constant high RPM, engine oil temp, turbo temp. If something let loose when you are doing 30 down the road in 4L I think dealer would put it under abuse.
