Absolutely agree. I'm not interesting in talking to Woodhouse. My post was in response to the user with the crazy idea that since Granger is in a small town (albeit near Des Moines) they don't deserve to sell a lot of Broncos. Woodhouse proves this is not true.

Yes. I've seen the email from Ford confirming COVP. I am PC19.

As far as I can tell, having COVP does not get you to Priority 2. I'm still at a 19 (as are all other Bronco orders at my dealer). Only when Ford is previewing an order and getting close to assigning a VIN will you be at PC2.

The big question @Zach@Granger needs to answer for us now is how many allocations Granger will get. We can balance our place in line with that and decide what to gamble.

From the 2023 FAQ ... Looks like your price protection is locked in at what you had on order Sept 9, 2022. You can make changes w/o affected the private offer.

Remember if you are at a dealer where lots of allocations were pulled ahead you won't see a 2024 either. Say one like Granger gets 200 pulled ahead. It might be two years before they get another Bronco.

Several dealers on this forum were at the fall 2020 dealer meeting and said that Ford specifically congratulated Granger on their Grangetober idea .... right before yanking the rug out from under all dealers that outperformed. (Just hearsay, but that was the word at the time.)

If @Ford Motor Company had chosen to honor reservations over allocations from the beginning they would not be in this mess.

I'm riding it out. Oct 2020 reservation. OBX non-SAS, 2.7, adv4x4, MIC, Lux, tow. I'll get what I want or I won't get it at all. @Ford Motor Company can take my money or not. I've had Fords all my life but this might be the end of that.

By not prioritizing reservations when they had the chance @Ford Motor Company put themselves in a spot where price protection is costing them millions.
