Somewhere on B6g there is a thread about drive ratios that showed you could get the advanced transfer case with the manual transmission. It's how they got that crazy high crawl ratio.

It looks like the BL, WT, and FE have it is standard. The advanced system is shown under Available Powertrains as an option on the other trims even including Base.

That's old school. Ford introduced that in 2011 with Sync2 and MyFordTouch.

If you pick the High Package you do not need to add in the Mid Package. The High includes it in the price. Same for Lux, you don't need to add Mid and High.

Haha ... I'm having the same experience. I told them I'm not there to buy and am just information gathering. I've gotten a text or email every day since. From the salesperson, the sales manager, or the general manager. They're really pushing hard.

I test drove a 202 Ranger XLT with the FX4 package. I agree there is plenty of get up and go with the 2.3. As for the lag, remember these are learning transmissions so if you usually drive hard they will adapt. Some of the Bronco trims will have a Sport G.O.A.T. mode which should also help.

All the retro emblems I find like that involve drilling holes to mount. If anyone finds one with a pure adhesive mount please post it.
