  1. Probably (hopefully not) totalled - Airbags deployed in frontal collision

Personally if mine were damaged to the point of "maybe its totalled" then I'd hope it is... lets just start over with a clean one (or whatever else you want), especially seeing as yours doesn't seem heavily modified and wouldn't be a bear to start over. That said I'm not an adjuster by any...
  2. Rear TracBar Relocation Bracket - Get One!

Changing tire size has exactly 0 impact on track bar angle/ride height. Or maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to say
  3. Porch pirate Bronco driver

So this was also my thought... though it would be cool when its convenient to you I REALLY don't want the government/authorities to have any more access to anything than they already do. Its a slippery slope to insurers, creditors and alike. So really just need to find this clown (wouldn't be...
  4. Porch pirate Bronco driver

Yeah if it were my stuff then I'd probably just feel bad for them and assume they needed it more than I did and that life will catch up with them eventually as it does. But deep pockets, super vendictive folks or a really valuable item might pursuade the powers that be. In either case I'd...
  5. 5 tire rotation schedule?

the other 700 threads on this subject will say largely the same things but I personally go with every 5k with oil changes. My pattern of choice is the Rearward Cross seen here
  6. Porch pirate Bronco driver

I'm guessing if they were trying to solve a murder they *might* be more motivated but with a porch pirate I'm assuming they'll file it under "too much trouble/too expensive" to get the data
  7. ProCal tune octane needed

Im sure the all-knowing and ever-helpful EPA got involved similarly to punishing those shops that delete diesels
  8. Driver seat edge wear

If you have the "leather-trimmed Vinyl" seats then the part you'd slide in on is pretty durable vinyl anyway so i wouldn't worry about it. Heck the "leather" parts are so cheap they still look brand new after 2 years of zero care in mine
  9. Love the mountains on a rainy day

We call Western NC home but spend a week in the Luray area every summer

  14. Wildtrak Sway Bar Disconnect

Impact, cheater pipe or a little more mustard. They'll come loose. If i recall correctly those are something like 122 lb.ft
  15. Update “Modular” front bumper bolts stuck

Could weld another bolt or nut onto the stripped head to get it out. And yeah as mentioned they're definitely Torx Plus.. I'm not at home to check but I recall it being a TP40. If you're using a regular T40 it'll be slightly small hence the strip. I never had any issues removing any of mine...
  16. What mudguards are these??

First i'd remove the crash bar which would help. Second I think I recall seeing folks in the past with this issue remove the end cap off the side step and cut off about an inch of the step and pop the end cap back on. That's personally what I would do If you insist on keeping those steps. A...
  17. Tops - MOD vs MIC wind noise and gasket quality

I think you'll find that it helps. FWIW I also use that same lubricant on the rear window/tailgate seals which drastically quiets the squeaks coming from that area too
  18. Tops - MOD vs MIC wind noise and gasket quality

I'm no help with your actual question but I've found that when putting my MIC top panels back on (especially if theres dust, etc) it helps to wipe the seals down with a Silicone spray lubricant. In my 2+ years with mine it helps 100% with the wind noise/leaks/squeaks...
  19. Rival: 2025 4Runner Prices Announced

The overwhelming majority of ALL 4x4 owners (name your model - wrangler, Bronco, 4runner, Taco, etc) could absolutely dominate whatever "trail" they're running in a Chrysler Pacifica much less whatever "build" they've come up with. For MOST people its more about the look than actual need. The...
