  1. Heated steering wheel

I'm glad that heated seats comes with the mid package as that's the only package that I planned to order. I don't feel as strongly about having a heated steering wheel. Id like to have it but not at the cost of upgrading to the Lux package.
  2. Black Diamond vs Badlands

It sounds like the BD is better for your needs between the 2 options although with the limited off roading that you plan to do, there are a number of features that won't be used and I'd personally look at a different trim. There's almost too many choices.
  3. Mid-package + V6 package pricing?

I still don't trust that the B&P is accurate. There are still some inconsistencies between the site and other documents on their website. For example, rock rails on the Black Diamond. I just hope that my final build doesn't have any surprises when it comes time to pay.
  4. Remote start - how doesn’t it get stolen?

My wife's Dodge Challenger is the same.
  5. The color we should have gotten

    Isn't that antimatter blue?
  6. Granger Ford - to our current reservation holders

Better not be in the next 12 months Albert.
  7. Best 45k build

I think it totally depends on how you plan to use it. There's no sense in getting features that aren't going to be used such as steel bumpers, bash plates and rock rails on the Black Diamond. You can't go wrong. Get the vehicle that suits your lifestyle. For me at this price point, I'd be...
  8. Glickenhaus crushed Bronco again.

I read that it was a stock 2.7l engine at Baja
  9. Granger Ford - to our current reservation holders

So my wife is not the only one that resents the amount of time that I'm spending on this. I swear she only tries talking to me when I pick up my phone..???
  10. Black Diamond Wheels look so good...

    I meant to type "impact*
  11. Guys, I think my wife just talked me out of my Badlands build... And into a Wildtrak

She has very valid points and like the way she thinks. There are other factors to consider in the equation such as interior and vehicle weight. I really like the MGV seats and floor plugs for washing out mud.. I suspect that the upgraded HD bumper, rock rails, and bash plates on the BL...
  12. Can’t decide- 2 or 4 door

At one time the ultimate vacation vehicle. I remember crawling back and forth from the back storage area to the rear seat and sometimes when I was misbehaving, having to crawl up to the front seat while the car was moving and sitting between my parents in the front seat. I don't think we...
  13. Black Diamond Wheels look so good...

You forgot to mention the jmpact that steel wheels have on the number of cup holders.
  14. My BD Dilemma

The one thing that was left out in the analysis is the gear ratio. The SAS package gets a 4.7 final gear ratio. If you plan to go aftermarket with a lift and tires, you will likely need re-gearing of you plan to do it later on.
  15. Sound deadening Headliner

I've been looking into this. You will be able to get an aftermarket system for half of the cost of the factory installed option. If you can install a bumper sticker, you can install one of these.
  16. Engine Block Heater

When its really cold, the oil doesn't move through the engine as well when its forst started until its warm. This is when most damage to your engine occurs. The block heater keeps your oil warm and allows it flow immediately in very cold conditions when your engine is first started. I live...
  17. Which green would you like to see on Bronco?

    I second the motion
  18. New pics of Race Red 4 door Badlands (Non-Sasquatch)

Race red looks pretty sweet. The 33s don't look too bad either but I do plan to squatch it bc I just don't want the hassle of doing it afterwards.
  19. Why are you choosing the Bronco over competitors like 4Runner and Wrangler?

Ford reputation for quality over Jeep. The ability to get a very off road worthy vehicle from the factory. While Toyota is known for reliability and I have owned several, the mpg is horrible, the engines are sluggish, and no locking front diff.
