That makes no sense since we knew up front that certain options would be in limited supply thus the reason to convert all reservations so they could begin building the ones they could.
I was on the fence about whether or not to squatch on my BL build. The deciding factors for me were I didn't care for the wheels that came with the 33s and felt that the upgraded wheels were too expensive in comparison to the aftermarket and I do plan to do a lot of off-roading, so the extra...
In the long run you will be happier that you waited. I believe there are many advantages to waiting for the MY22 models unless you just can't stand to wait.
I'm in the same boat. I changed my mind for a few days from BD to a BL after watching the KOH videos then thought about how often I had to have a disconnecting sway bar. Im back to reality with the BD sas and will look at aftermarket options if I think its something that I really want down the...
Paint film and headliners do add weight and impact COG, but obviously very minimally. All I can think of is the calculation must be right at the limit where adding a few pounds pushes the result just over some limitation. It sounds like this vehicle is heavy to begin with, so they may be...
Agree. COG has nothing to do with bolt placement. On the other hand, if the height of the roof rack is being redesigned to be closer to roof, that would change the COG and could also have a secondary impact of changing the attachment points, that would make sense.
If you aren't doing much off roading, the BD will save you at least $3200 on toys you won't use. If you want anything more than the mid package, you must go with the BL.
I decided to go with the Black Diamond. I won't need the sway bar disconnect for 3 plus years when we move to Colorado and upon researching, there should be numerous aftermarket manual SBD options that should cost just a few hundred $ vs $3K if I feel that I really need it. Im hoping that the...
2 totally different builds. Since its a daily driver and you were looking at the high package in the OBX, I'm not sure you will be happy with the mid package and having a lot of off road features that will never be used on the BD. Perhaps some middle ground is getting an OBX, squatch with mid...
