Well, truck has made it to Texas. Been at a rail yard for at least two days. Only response from the frustrated dealer is that the rail/transport company said, and I quote " ...will look to get the units out by the end of the week." I know there are plenty of users who hate on dealers, but as...
I feel for you both. This launch is a true head scratcher. I doubt anyone at Ford is proud how it has been handled, but I doubt a single person has taken responsibility either, let alone do anything about your issues. Having a truck go down the line the week of Jan 17th and still not...
If you really want to fix it, you can. Keep this link for broken plastic of all kinds. www.plastex.net is the stuff you need. Their product can adhere plastics and make broken tabs, fill holes among a number of things. They have what they call a molding bar- think silly putty that is firm at...
anyone have any recent information about rail times? Without a railcar number, I was told that the last position was in Dolton, IL on Friday. I understand that to be a railyard owned by a short haul company (e.g. an intermodial/inter company-type switch yard)
Baby Pic came. I am stunned that Ford could finish something so quickly! It is almost like it was made in June (sarcasm font). Is dirty, but I must admit, I can't wait to make it dirtier. Here is hoping the rest of the group is finished and shipped soon. Unknown when I will actually take...
My personal opinion as an optimist is you will be getting good news soon. My observations as a customer and realist veer towards your thinking. Ford, as hard as it is to believe (sarcastic side) is in the business of selling things. With this in mind, you should be built soon. The politically...
Received the shipped email today. Recalls to be fixed, so hopefully one of the last for this week to get truck on the way. Must say am happy but surprisingly numb due to the whole Ford Experience so far
Two items that will help if insurance doesn't. One product that is a great multi-use is superzilla (www.superzilla.us)- also available at some Ace hardware shops- helps remove cured paint from various surfaces. Second is a great product one should have to help smooth any touch up paints-...
My company sells stuff on TV and we are currently testing a product that is supposed to help with rock chips and paint protection- untested the claims physically as of yet. Manufacturer claims will take hardness to over Gorilla Glass with one application (after multi day cure, that is). So, my...
Oops, sorry for the defective sarcasm, I meant to say "hopefully" will ship in August. I fell into the default trap of believing they are concerned about old builds. My fault.
I can't wait for Ford to be happy for the delivery of the truck that went down the line in January, was "built" in June and likely won't ship until August! It will mean SO much!
The app literally does not even start. I was told by ford that they were aware of the issue and it is being investigated. I was curious as to what features were on the app, even if they didn't work. It seems that my FordPass app is as useful as my non-delivered Bronco at this point.
Still Awaiting Shipment since 6/14 built email. I have been in contact with dealer and their only comment is, if not shipped by this Friday- the 7/29-8/3 estimate will be wrong. Aside from being stunned, stunned I tell you, it was nice to hear some honesty.
I am trying to set up the app at this point. No Bronco yet- 1/17 build week, "built" 6/12 and awaiting shipment since then. I believe I am on the latest apple ios, but will check, thanks.
