There’s one big problem with that - it’s been reported that if you go soft top ONLY straight from the factory...you don’t get the connections for rear defrost/wiper fluid built on the Bronco.
So when you did eventually get your white top you won’t be able to connect it to your rig.
Why did...
As of now, I have SAS on my BL and my order is in...because I’m not sure anyone has a definitive answer on the things you and I are asking. Just a lot of speculation (albeit pretty good educated speculation).
1) Does SAS really add much to the suspension/lift to a BL?
2) Will I need an...
As someone who is a slightly later reserve date...I would give anything to move up to a day 1 or 2 spot because I can guarantee I’m driving away with my Bronco.
I have this feeling that there is a certain number of very early res holders that are much more willing to walk away. Their Broncos...
I don’t think there has been confirmation that the Bronco specifically has it, but it will have Sync 4 capabilities and Sync 4 has that across all its models.
The feature is covered in this video (it’s a little long)...
The tough answer is: No one knows for sure yet.
I was actually thinking about doing a similar thing on my BL. Go non-SAS then swap out my 33” tires for 35” after the fact (bc SAS doesn’t add a whole lot that the BL doesn’t already have).
Unfortunately since no one has a Bronco...no one has...
So it seems like a high package, non-SAS BL has pretty much 90-95% of what you want (minus sport mode)...but it’s too expensive?
Honestly if you built a Bronco from scratch with each individual piece you want...you’d pretty much end up in the same ballpark as BL price wise.
If you want all...
I decided to go SAS...at the end of the day getting all of that from factory with warranty is huge.
Plus looking at discussions by pros on other B6G threads....the price for what you get out of SAS is really good.
