  1. Now what?!

    Right on, same here👍
  2. Rigid (chase light) purchased to replace 3rd brake light…

Thanks gents for the suggestions, red locktite might leave the spare inaccessible and yes determined thieves will get what they want, however, would like to make a bit of work for a dishonest person rather than easy removal with a common crescent wrench…will see what I can find for bolt options…
  3. Rigid (chase light) purchased to replace 3rd brake light…

All, did search but couldn’t find anything referencing my primary concern with this product. First off, the light is definitely well built and feels quality, (which it should for the near $300 price). Couple of concerns, install instructions don’t address wiring for all the functions (I have...
  4. NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT - SPV/RIGID CHASE Light Hitch Kit - STROBE/REVERSE/BRAKE/RUNNING

JohnGalt…EXACTLY, what I’ve been wanting to do to my OBX that I recently lifted 2” w/35’s!! Want to ditch the high mount 3rd brake light in favor of a spare tire lug nut mounted 3rd brake light. The led light rings mounted behind the spare look cheesy (IMO)…I’ll check out the one you mentioned...
  5. Break-in oil change 2.7

No metal shavings at all? Even deep deep down in the pleats? 🤔 None I could see visually certainly nothing compared to the voodoo engines that were having oil pump issues…
  6. Break-in oil change 2.7

First change was at 1400mi and I went with Mobil 1 full syn/Motorcraft filter. My filter didn’t have any metal shavings though. I saved it in a ziplock bag (for now) just in case of any engine issues later, (likely overkill, but after my GT350 Voodoo engine - some early engines had oil pump...
  7. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Nice options for the hoist, Bronto.41, will be checking these out!
  8. Hooke Road Bastion Bronco Front Bumper w/LED Lights & D-rings

All, just found this front bumper on Amazon. Tried multiple searches and came up empty. Anyone have this and/or can comment on it quality wise? I'm aware that Hooke Road makes roof racks that are reasonable priced and decent quality and am looking to replace my OBX plastic bumper. This one...
  9. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Funny, I considered that approach as well, but decided against it as (my thinking anyways) it would make it a bit more difficult to attach top onto Bronco solo…if you do this please post, would like to see it👍
  10. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Soooo true! I’m going to install a separate ratchet strap with separate eyebolts exactly for that reason - especially when it’s going to be off for awhile👍
  11. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

LOL, one of my fav garage mods “Modutile” interlocking 12” composite tiles. Much more cost effective than having epoxy coating ($1,250.00 vs $3,400.00 - 450sq.ft.) and provides thermal barrier over the concrete. Multiple colors and go to Modutile website, $1 /sq.ft. Less than Amazon pricing!
  12. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Lol, first time in a long while that most of CA isn’t in severe drought conditions! Fingers crossed for decent rains & snow this Winter. Interesting idea on the 2x6’s, having a hard time visualizing how you’d get 2x6s through the rear window area - unless you leave window in open position...
  13. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Nice, I still need to raise mine in the rear a couple of inches, but top going on for Winter today, will level out when I next remove it. Question for you, are you concerned with the lift rope indenting the weatherstripping? You can see I’ve inserted pool noodle between rope and...
  14. Door panel removal?

Nice response Duc1098and to OP, super easy to remove. Have had all mine off to date.
  15. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Thanks, haven’t had the top on since late July but time to concede to weather…we’re forecasted for heavy rain this Winter.
  16. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

Still need to make a couple of adjustments to the buckle straps to lift the rear a couple of inches and will add a “safety ratchet strap” with separate eye bolts as I tend to leave top off for extended periods of time, but overall pleased with the Harkin Hoister kit. Instructions are very...
  17. Harkin Hoister Clamshell Lift installed

A few pics of my recently installed Hardtop hoist. Used the Harkin Hoist hardtop lift and am pleased with the price/install/
  18. Door trim was damaged by a naughty child, where can I buy a replacement?

Likely have to purchase new door panel as (IIRC) that pad/trim piece is attached with the melted plastic tabs…(so Ford probably not selling it as a separate piece)…
  19. Level Lift for 2022 OBX non Sasquatch?

This!! Installed the Bilstein 6112, (not FP though as I wanted adjustability down the road), coilovers on my non-SAS OBX couple of months ago and worth every penny. Keep an eye out for vendor holiday sales as I bought my complete set for 1449.00 shipped from Shock Surplus utilizing their...
  20. What part/accessory are you looking for that a company has not made?

Mostly convenience items: 1) A simple plastic hook that snaps onto the rear seat (child seat anchors) so you could hang grocery bags for trip home. 2) Also some sort of hook or at least cover for the rear cargo area holes where (I believe) the soft top mechanism bolts to. 3)Also some cool...
