  1. New Bronco owner from SC

That, sir, is a pretty badass garage. Too bad mine is filled with surfboards, kites, tools, ladders, etc. ha
  2. Questions for Roof Rack Owners

What are you using it for? It's attached to the frame in front with filler panels for when it's off and just a couple of bolts on each side to the top, no big deal but there's no taking it on and off everytime, I'm going to remove it once a year to go to a bimini top/no top for the summer. It's...
  3. New Bronco owner from SC

Welcome - down the road from you in Charleston, just picked this up last week.
  4. Anyone with a 2 door regret not going 4 doors?

I'll reiterate that the 2 door Bronco is much more liveable (especially if you remove at least one seat) than the 2 door Jeep. The size helps, the front seats have plenty of room, and it's damn near as long in the cargo (or feels it) as my 4 door Wrangler. I've pretty much been able to fit what...
  5. Anyone with a 2 door regret not going 4 doors?

Man this sounds familiar, kinda like me on the JLWranglerForums. I've always had 4 doors or a truck, basically XJ, '93 Toyota Pickup (22RE), JK, JL. I wanted to make a 2 door work......just my wife and I, but I have a lot of hobbies that require space (mountain biking, surfing, kiteboarding...
  6. Garage width

I can confirm on this one - pull driver's side mirror in to pull in, with it out.......not so much. I can get away with the single mirror pulled in, just park closer on that side.
  7. Compensating for winch weight?

Yeah, the Bronco is damn heavy, I knew this, I'm wondering if I could get away with a 8000 lb VR with synthetic, 54 lbs. Bronco with fuel, gear, me, probably sitting 5200 lbs or so (I don't carry much), so that's a 1.5 of around 7800 or so.
  8. JL vs Bronco (Manual Transmission Opinions)

Update to this thread - so.....I can pretty safely say that there are two things that have convinced me to switch from the JL to the Bronco: Main Reason: I can get away with a 2 door and still fit everything pretty safely in it. I always wanted a 2 door, and when the Bronco 2 door came out I...
  9. Compensating for winch weight?

Bump on this thread, anyone with the JCR or similar winch/mounting plate, JCR has it listed at 49 lbs, add another 75 lbs or so for a winch with synthetic. Anyone with any noticeable sag on a SAS setup? That was one issue with my JL, it just made the forward rake worse, roughly 1-1/8" after...
  10. Bronco Team 2 door.

Good timing, because I just joined the club, just waiting on consistently warm temps (it's 38 this AM), and I'll have a pretty close to matching photo.
  11. Bronco Dealers: No-ADM, X-Plans & Special Discounts Master List

Invoice, knocked roughly $1000 off the sticker price, then another $2350 in rebates.
  12. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Same ditto on the transmission part #, 10/19/22 build date, no noise so far at all through 200 miles. Agree on the overall comment too, we basically have Bronco twins it appears. I read quite a bit of this thread and others regarding the manual transmission, and one thing is for certain, it is...
  13. Bronco Dealers: No-ADM, X-Plans & Special Discounts Master List

Add Walterboro Ford in South Carolina to the list, absolutely class from start to finish. Invoice pricing guarantee with no dealer costs, and that's exactly what I got when my order came in (Reservation: July 2021, delivery March 2023). The rebates for cost protection were upfront, no issues...
  14. South Carolina Adventure Route (SCAR)

Reviving this thread, so I'm ending up with the Bronco....looks like the JL will be sold this week. I just really like the 2 door and the Bronco manual transmission is much smoother so far. I'm going to take it out to Francis Marion probably this coming weekend, if anyone wants to hit a few...

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

@Blackcat Yeah, most of it I'm guessing, I've only been there with a JLU Rubicon, and pretty much did everything but the D's, and could have done Dickey Bell just ran out of time.
  16. Ford Canvas Bimini Top - Installed Quick Look

This is the Bestop, right? That's doable, how's it working out?
  17. Applying Flex Seal on a mesh Bimini to make it solid?

Worst case scenario you have a gooey mess as soon as it heats up, best case scenario it does the exact same thing they told you it would (become a very loud smacking mess at high speed). Personally, I'm just going with the solid one anyways because I'm typically at low speed (under 50 mph)
  18. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

    I didn't but I do now, thanks!
