  1. Washout - Rear Passenger Seat Removal

Yeah, I've checked a bit underneath to make sure water isn't getting under the rubber......there in lies my concern with removing the flooring to put down Goose Gear or something comparable.
  2. Washout - Rear Passenger Seat Removal

What are you talking about? I'm not just spraying the entire interior down..it's basically where sand collects in the cargo area and the floors. It has drain plugs for a reason. If rinsing the floors down is not what it was made for, then what is it for?
  3. Washout - Rear Passenger Seat Removal

I need to completely remove the rear passenger side seat to best make use of the cargo space (more easily fit a MTB, etc.). I'm not really interested in the Goose Gear given the price and the fact that I need something that can be washed out repeatedly (I bought the MGV/Vinyl to use it, and I'm...
  4. From 22 Willy's to 22 Outer Banks!

Ditto except a JLUR to a Badlands 2 door - what are your thoughts on the manual transmissions between the JL and Bronco?
  5. Manual transmission will “hopefully” be back for model year 2024 Bronco says Mike Levine

I had a '21 JL for 18 months, and I can 100% state that the Bronco 7MT (at least through 600 miles) in my '23 Bronco is in every way better than the Jeep. Smoother, better clutch engagement, better gearing, in all ways better. I'm really hopeful that it's sorted out because how smooth and fun...

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

@Copperhorse73 Yeah, watching the weather, I'd try and get some mountain biking in too, so......the rain forecast doesnt look ideal. If it's too much, maybe next weekend or the 27-28.

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

@Copperhorse73 Saturday? I may make that happen and tag along if you don't mind.
  8. Uwharrie Roll Call

I may go that Saturday as well, depending on weather, let me know if you end up going. I've been there a few times in a JLU, but never in the Bronco so I wouldn't mind heading up with a few people. Probably camp Friday or Saturday night depending on weather.

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

@Dads_bronze_bronco Ditto, I am free now, would like to head up Friday or Saturday if weather cooperates for camping/trails.
  10. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

42, wife, no kids, 2 dogs - 2 Door. I love it so far, it's the perfect size for a 2 door, still has enough cargo size to cover pretty much anything I want to carry (within reason).
  11. I made the switch (Jeep to Bronco)

The JL went to Carvana on Wednesday, $45,700 with 13,500 miles on it. Bought it new (8% below invoice) for $42,500 in November 2021. Luckily I live in SC and sales tax is capped at $500 so no big loss there, and I probably put $3k in it (Armorlite flooring, Bartact seat covers, Bumper/winch)...
  12. I made the switch (Jeep to Bronco)

Yeah, Hydro is a great color, it was between Hydro and Sarge Green for me, since it was a Rubicon something about Sarge Green and red didn't work. I like Eruption Green a lot better than Sarge Green, but the Hydro is a great color. Good luck, and you will have no issue selling the JL i/fwhen a...
  13. I made the switch (Jeep to Bronco)

Completely agree with this, the 2 door Bronco seems to slot in as the perfect size.
  14. I made the switch (Jeep to Bronco)

Right, the base radio, and I really don't care that much about audio quality, but it's pretty bad. I've driven a lot of rental cars and I'm trying to think of one that sounds that bad. It is loud enough......I've had the top off and it's definitely loud (louder than the Jeep), just not good.
  15. I made the switch (Jeep to Bronco)

Ok so I have one complaint for them and it was that. No clue, I’ve taken it off but have two holes, I’ll probably get the filler plugs. Off road - my neighbors and I will go play around in Francis Marion there’s some muddy, rutted spots that are at least something off the gravel roads. Here’s a...
  16. I made the switch (Jeep to Bronco)

I have a similar thread to a few previous regarding the manual transmission, but here goes. Background - I've basically had Jeeps since I started driving, XJ, JKU. I test drove the Bronco in May of 2021 and really liked it and put in a reservation. My '07 JKU was on it's last leg (transmission...
  17. Questions for Roof Rack Owners

Dealer, in my assembly picture you can see it in the front passenger seat wrapped in plastic.
  18. New Bronco owner from SC

For all of you SC residents looking to order and/or buy, Walterboro Ford sells at invoice, no fees. I reserved in July 2021, and the rebate was deducted up front, no issues. Great guys, very helpful and honest.
  19. Questions for Roof Rack Owners

Ok, well that helps. Although I'm not sure why you are dealing with a Bronco when loudness and being able to remove the top/doors is one of the primary draws. I'll second that having room up top, especially with a 2 door to carry ladders, wood, etc. is helpful.
  20. Questions for Roof Rack Owners

Then that's a hard no. You are basically making it harder to remove the top quickly, more noise, more effort, and lord only knows how much Ford is charging for them. I don't have a choice, I have a 2 door and I surf so.......$325 from the factory and I deal with them.
