Thank you all for your input...I'm narrowing things down and like Rex21c discussed, although I'd like a bit of the cool features the BL provides, I'm going to be 95% on-road (but jumping curbs a ton at soccer tourneys).
The top issue is still one that I cannot figure out. Is the hardtop...
This might be an overly naïve and known concept...but, are the prices of the vehicles based on where we live? Meaning, I live in an expensive state...Maryland. If someone in let's say Mississippi, with a lower cost of living, orders one, is the price adjusted at all?
Several people here have...
I put one together on the Ford site and it's like 69k now....there must be a significant price increase (this does include, I think, the 4 extra tube doors, but they're 'only' 1800.00)
I'm in MD and we get some sketchy weather. I have a gen 1 totally upgraded 4Runner with 33s...classic vehicle....going to sell it to get the Bronco. It'll be nice to have the creature comforts of a new vehicle. We don't buy the Bronco for fuel efficiency, so that is not a concern.
Does the...
No sport mode as the badlands is heavier and meant for more off-road use, hence the crawl mode option. The Wildtrak doesn't have the crawl but it has Sport mode...it's more of a soccer mom (dad in my case) on-road vehicle. That'd be my best guess...
This is a really odd issue. You'd think everyone would want to be able to access the drain plugs easily...with carpeting, is it sealed in like in a car, or just mats?
I really like the option of having rubber mats...never like carpet because it always gets dirty.
that's another question...if you don't off-road a lot, do you get SAS just for resale value and look? How much 'better' is the vehicle with SAS?
Also, can you get the Lux package with the vinyl seats or only with leather? I'm not sure about the auto seat adjustments vs. manual ones...eh...
So, it's like any other vehicle, then? Have to wash the carpet? Darn...wish they offered that drainage in all the models. It's really useful for everyone, I'd think.
thank you all. I'm more of a suburbanite vs. a serious off-roader/over-lander. I do love the Badlands loaded up with all the options and the disconnect, but honestly, how often will I really need it? Likely almost never...
I'm thinking Wildtrak at this point...trying to find out if it has...
Thank you so much for your reply....that is a lot of great info to digest. I think the idea of the Badlands is 'cool', with the disconnect...however, I'll be doing mostly curb jumping for soccer games and some gentle off-roading.. I most certainly won't be running this in extreme terrain...
Putting an order in when the window opens soon so I can get a Bronco before the year 2100...lol...
Anyway, a few questions...
1. Do all the models have drain plugs or only the Badlands? With that, are they also in the back seat or only the front?
2. Comparing the Badlands with SAS against...
