  1. SS Bronco

    Bay Area Broncos

I’ve gone on a few trips with them. Great group of people. Last trail ride had broncos from the Bay to Reno.
  2. Bad leather seat

I will take this salvage title bronco off your hands. $50k can be down in SoCal in 8 hours.
  3. PSA - if you have 37” tires you may need to turn off the AdvanceTrac

I have had 37 on my Badlands Sasquatch for a year and haven’t heard of this, but definitely will be aware now
  4. Group of Broncos on Rubicon Trail Loon Lake to Little Sluice

This last few trips we’ve done where organizing on this forum under Sacramento Broncos ,any one is welcome. I have wheeled the Dear Valley trail with a few stock Badlands, but the rubicon is going to be extremely challenging with 33. The broncos on 35’s drag a ton.
  5. Group of Broncos on Rubicon Trail Loon Lake to Little Sluice

Not sure if any one answered your question. The 6G scraped a lot. There is no way to avoid it. The underside takes a beating but as long as you have good skids you are fine. That’s the biggest difference from driving a Jeep or any other straight axle rig on rubicon compared to the 6th gens.
  6. Group of Broncos on Rubicon Trail Loon Lake to Little Sluice

I did the same thing after the trip. After seeing Joe do it. It only works if you can adjust your height on the coil overs. I went up 1.75” and lowered my rear suspension to stay level. Cut off the bottom of the mount (pic of piece)hopefully it won’t get hung up as often.
  7. đź‘€ 42 Inch Tires đź‘€ RTR Fun-Runner

No I didn’t know they where building it. 74weld, and the other parts from Gomez Brother Racing they build 4400 class cars
  8. đź‘€ 42 Inch Tires đź‘€ RTR Fun-Runner

I wanted this exact set up this spring. Was quoted 21k for the portal boxes and 18k for the rest of the front assembly. This doesn’t include the labor, rear end, tires, or body work.
  9. Group of Broncos on Rubicon Trail Loon Lake to Little Sluice

Height is definitely the key. Portals axles or solid axle swap is the only way to get more height. I don’t think there is any other way.
  10. Won’t move- stuck in 4L

If I read it correctly you had it towed and it’s at the dealership now. Have them figured it out and let us know.
  11. Things I wish I knew before going to a Bronco Off-Roadeo - add yours

Just be aware if you off road a lot, you may find it boring. I attend with wife and adult daughter and both feel asleep because the trails are very mild compared to our normal trips. Very organized and informative if you are new to the sport.
  12. đź‘€ 42 Inch Tires đź‘€ RTR Fun-Runner

Why would you think that? Have you ever seen how amazing the broncos do with portal axles off road. If it wasn’t so expensive I would have them today.
  13. Group of Broncos on Rubicon Trail Loon Lake to Little Sluice

I have the grey 4 door Badlands. 37x13.5 Coopers. 2” suspension lift via 4wp coil overs and 3” body lift. LOD transmission skid plate and the rest stock ford skids with Broncbuster steering upgrades. Did fine, a lot easier with the mods then running it when I was a stock.
  14. Group of Broncos on Rubicon Trail Loon Lake to Little Sluice

Fun times. We will be ready to tackle it again in the spring.
  15. Let's see your favorite trail photos!

This picture was from my fourth and last trip of the year, it’s getting snowed in this week. I am fortunate enough to only live 1.5hours away. I haven’t experienced and damage besides the skid plates getting beaten up underneath and a small ding on my back bumper. Good skid pates are a must and...
  16. Let's see your favorite trail photos!

    The Rubicon Trail California.
  17. Anybody running real aftermarket beadlocks?

RTR’s can take a lot of abuse. Mine have held up to a season of rock crawling and still balance out. Check out the picture below. Have had great results with Trail Ready Bead-locks.
  18. RH4x4: Ford Bronco Complete Bellypan Skid Plate Systems - 2 & 4 Door

Looks great. When adding your gas tank skid over the factory gas tank skid, how much ground clearance is lost? After one season of wheeling mainly on rocks on factory skid plates I am looking to upgrade. I have the 4 door, interested in your steel version.
  19. Warning steering rack can randomly fail after wheeling [watch out for these vehicle alerts / fault codes]

The only other rack I seen break in person beside yours was on a stock Badlands with Sasquatch driven by a unnamed Ford employee.
  20. Reverse camera not turning off when shifting to Drive

I know of a few other people besides myself that have similar problems for a year but only in 4 wheel drive.
