Well, if we're going to play the Jeopardy category "Generational Tropes"
A: This generation cost cut everything in order to squeeze out more quarterly returns.
Q: Who are the boomers?
But how will they receive validation at the parking lot princess car meet if other people don't know they...
If it's anything like on my RS, the MT will be better than the auto. It will restart as soon as you clutch in.
And it will prevent the engine from stopping if it needs to run the A/C compressor, or of the engine isn't up to temp, or if the alternator needs to run to top off the battery and I'm...
The confusion was exactly Ford's intention.
They are trying to cash in on their brand equity. And I can kinda understand why. Slap a Bronco Sport (BS) logo on an escape and raise the starting MSRP by $2000.
See the Edge and Explorer ST: they were essentially the same as the outgoing sport...
So I took some photos on my phone in raw, used lightroom to balance against the snow, and the used the color picker tool to sample a few different points. I didn't grab the horizontal surfaces because they reflect so much of the blue in the sky.
The circled point is where I had the cursor...
I've camped in Olympic NP out of a rental car and an REI 2-person tent.
I did the same in Utah with a Jetta. Some nights I just folded the rear seats down and slept in the trunk.
Those were both great trips, and the fact that I was out there in a NP sticks with me way more than the fact that I...
I believe there is a sensor in the door handle that is required as well. From what I can tell on my Focus. And that sensor is read by the body controller, so at the very least I think you need to add the sensor, possibly the wiring to it, and reprogram / reconfigure body controller.
IIRC your phone has to be connected to internet AND have cell service for that. Back in the good ole days my phone could be off and I could still text / call. Or I could be out of cell range but have wifi.
Regardless, don't care to have google remove it on whim, so I'll just stick with VZW.
Project Fi stopped offering web texting, so I went back to VZW. Better coverage anyway.
I was on a vacation the day they killed google trips, goodbye all the neat walking tours I had picked out.
Hangouts is dying, and being replaced by two (three?) different apps. So I picked up signal. Plus...
I wanted a manual and heated seats ... alas, Ford has deemed manual drivers are peasants.
As the Bronco will be my daily, its 10A with heated seats and passive keyless entry.
:(
I have it on my Focus RS. As others have mentioned, engine fires right back up when you clutch in, so it's pretty much a non-issue. I even prefer it, you get some nice quiet zen when sitting at a stop light. Pretty much only turn it off in real bad stop+go traffic.
Plenty of people complained...
If I could get BD mid man, I would. But nope, some bean counters decided they can crunch us out of an extra $6k by only offering it with BL.
So I'm getting BD/mid/auto. First automatic I've purchased in my life.
I've had:
'96 Mustang 6 spd
'14 Focus 5 spd
'16 Focus RS 6 spd
'16 Mazda3 6 spd
Manual Mid Black Diamond
It would be the perfect daily driver. BLIS / Co-pilot, Auto highbeams, heated seats with decent off-road capability. I refuse to buy an automatic, and I don't need the extra capability of the Bad Lands. There's obviously no engineering reason man/mid can't be paired...
