  1. Tagging another Bronco

I think the duck thing is stupid. I know 3 jeep owners that HATE the duck thing. I bought a box of like 36 on amazon for like 9 bucks. I keep a few in the bronco an once in a while when I see their jeeps I'll put one on the dash looking at them if the doors are off, if the doors on on I put it...
  2. New 2023 window down feature?

My 2023 BB did this when new but it stopped doing at some point. I don't know if it was causing problems an they removed the feature or what.
  3. New Temu modular bumper

I was actually talking about the bracket, I'd buy some amazon lights.
  4. New Temu modular bumper

For that price I might get one but I've never ordered anything off Temu. If I do I'm thinking about these fog lights...
  5. Hard top wrap - gloss, satin, or matte finish?

That looks good. I have a white bronco too an think it would look good with a smooth finish. I passed a bronco on the highway that was white with gloss black top and grill it looked nice
  6. Looks like I need to level the REAR. 🤣

I did this on the back of mine. Wish I tried three plates on each side. I have a BB an swapped badlands springs/struts with the front level kit. I added the rear plates too. It looked noise high an measured nose high at first. I drove it a hundred miles then had it aligned and now it's pretty...
  7. Tire Feed Please

I had the first version too on my 2019 ranger an I really liked them. Good traction, good ride quiet road noise. I put 22K on them before selling the truck an they looked new still.
  8. Still On The Fence About Getting A Dash Cam? Take A Look

no it was easy, but it lasted four days. The driver crossed a double yellow line, drove through a area marked with slashes to indicate no driving on that area. She was passing a long line of cars waiting their turn to go through a light, she sped around them to get to the left turn lane a few...
  9. Still On The Fence About Getting A Dash Cam? Take A Look

I had jury duty two or three years ago an a third party's vehicle was in place to catch the accident on his dash cam. He sent a copy to the police. Made assigning blame very easy. My friend own's a moving franchise an they made all the agents install dash cams in the trucks. Less than a month...
  10. Best shipping options for hard top?

I'm lucky enough to have a good friend that owns a moving business. I have bought Sas wheels from Houston and Sas struts from the Dallas area off here. I check if he's going to that area an in the near future an if so he has a driver pick them up for me. Wonder if you could get that lucky...
  11. Best way to remove front shocks?

Another note on the rear, I had a 30mm socket so I didn't have to order one, or so I thought. Turns out it was too shallow. I didn't have a 30mm wrench or deep socket but my industrial strength adjustable wrench did the job of holding the nut side of the lower rear bolt.
  12. Test Drove a Badlands and Raptor Today :-(

Does Ford have the tune turned down on the raptors when new until they get past the break in mileage. The guy I work for bought a new vette an it was tuned down until it hit 500 miles then it unlocked it self.
  13. Best way to remove front shocks?

I just did this job two weeks ago. If I hadn't had a snap on 1/2 air impact I don't think I could have gotten them off. I tried to avoid breaking it out an used a breaking bar with a pipe an I saw the Craftsman bar bending. I just ran the lowers on with the impact an hit them hard with it to...
  14. 17x8.5 on SAS 35s, too much for my 3.73 gears?

Or you could drive in sport mode?
  15. 17x8.5 on SAS 35s, too much for my 3.73 gears?

I don't think those steps will do much for rock protection. I live in a rural area with lots of gravel driveways an temp gravel filled potholes so I needed the running boards. Your drive looks more civilized lol
  16. 17x8.5 on SAS 35s, too much for my 3.73 gears?

I have a 2023 BB and swapped the sas tire/wheels onto it an it's fine. It may have lost a little snap off the line but it's not a performance car. I drive it pretty easy (my friends that ride with me may say otherwise) an before the swap I got about 22 mpg overall and now it's 21.5. I did the...
  17. Update - Harbor Freight spring compressor

This is what I was thinking of doing. The only down side is it's more time consuming. One might be able to line up a time with the shop to make sure you can get them in and out. I thought I read somewhere about using a ratchet strap on the spring as a backup if the compressor fails.
  18. 10R60 - Total Fluid Capacity vs. Amount Dumped With Filter Change?

There's a YouTube video of them doing a fluid change on an f150 with the 10r80 that shows a "cold level check". You have to start the engine. Wait ten seconds. Put it in reverse while holding the brake for ten seconds then put it in drive and hold the brake for ten seconds. Check the level with...
  19. 10R60 - Total Fluid Capacity vs. Amount Dumped With Filter Change?

I've hear even the "standard" ppe pan holds a little more than standard. I plan on checking the fluid on the crappy little dipstick before lowering the pan then getting it back to that mark
