  1. Bronco on 4" lift with 37s by Maxlider Brothers

Looks like somehow the door was open with the window all the way up when shut rather than the 1" lowering it normally does. Weird.
  2. Production Date Obsession

    Would certainly make sense.
  3. Production Date Obsession

And then there are the 10s of thousands more who aren't on this forum everyday, so the info isn't right in front of them every day, and haven't really worried about it. I'm convinced that's the way to go, but I'm too far down the rabbit hole...
  4. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

Isn't that the truth! Best thing I've done for my own stress is realize there's no reason to try to project my life onto others. People are gonna people, and if they want my opinion they're welcome to ask! My opinion's wrong as often as not, too!
  5. Production Date Obsession

I've got that same 7/19-8/2 window according to Ford last night. Hoping that's actually a good sign of them figuring out wider but firmer windows. Just wishful thinking I'm sure. Mostly, I'm excited that some folks here are having their rigs built. Let's start seeing them delivered and on the...
  6. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

42, no kids, 4-door. That said, my wife has late reservation and will order a 2 door when the MY22 order banks open. We couldn't make any practical sense of two 2-doors, and I tend to cart more stuff and people around on a regular basis.
  7. Whats your lifestyle, and how do you see the Bronco fitting into it?

We spent about 2 years living on the front range in Colorado and loved it. Not sure where we'll eventually end up and whether it'll be full-time or "second home" type, but I could see us looking at Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho as well as Colorado. CO is getting pretty crowded in places. I fell...
  8. Whats your lifestyle, and how do you see the Bronco fitting into it?

We're early 40s DINKs and it appears will remain that way, so it was time to start driving what we want to drive. We love to explore. The backroads of the Flint Hills of Kansas are our playground on weekends right now. We absolutely love the West, though, and when our careers allow (be it...
  9. Recent Ford announcement

Was originally 7 and shortened to 6. No mileage limit/requirement.
  10. First Bronco bolt accessory -- phone holder by Tackform

Yep. That's exactly what it is for. I don't plan to do anything other than toss my phone on the wireless charger and off we go.
  11. Auto-Engine Shut Off

Couldn't agree more. I've actually come to not just ignore it but enjoy the peace of it. My AC does get less cool when it works, and with the 100°+ days we're getting right now am turning it off in the heat of the day so the compressor keeps running, but otherwise it's no big deal.
  12. First Bronco bolt accessory -- phone holder by Tackform

She just likes a secure place to put it and see any notifications. She doesn't like holding it or getting it out every time it dings. She can just glance and ignore unless she wants to do something with it. Is what it is. I don't complain if she doesn't. 😉
  13. First Bronco bolt accessory -- phone holder by Tackform

Looks to me to be more valuable for a passenger than the driver. My wife likes her own phone mount in our JL...
  14. Bronco Off-Rodeo guest price reduced

There is no actual voucher. Everyone with an order in gets one, and apparently in the registration process you check a box that you want to use it. It was in an earlier email from Ford. Maybe the same one as free sound deadening headliner.
  15. Finance vs. Cash?

Do you have other credit history? Credit cards, mortgage? If so, lack of an auto loan won't mean anything. A high credit score and easily demonstrated income will get you 99% of the way there.
  16. 🙌 Bronco OKTB Issued and Shipments Begin as Ford Celebrates Bronco Production at MAP!

"Full production" starts in August, and MY21 begins wind-down in November. At best, I'm guessing there's 16 weeks of full production. That's if there is no down time. 5500*16=88,000 Add in that they don't start weekend shifts until after Labor Day, and even then are two on, one off, and 5500...
  17. Thoughts on Ford Pass Rewards Credit Card?

Yep. I play the points games with credit cards a decent amount, and for Ford services, this looks like a solid deal. The 1% back isn't enough for me to use it for everyday purchases, but if I get it I'll be happy to spend $3k to get that initial bucket of points and use it for all Ford purchases...
  18. Thoughts on Ford Pass Rewards Credit Card?

I don't think that's how it works - at least, that's not how most points-systems work. When they say "earn 1% back in points" it means earn 1% of the value of the purchase back in points. So, 1% on $1000 is obviously $10. At 20 points for dollar, you'd earn 200 points for your $1000 purchase...
  19. 🙌 Bronco OKTB Issued and Shipments Begin as Ford Celebrates Bronco Production at MAP!

Having actual scheduled builds for customers coming off the line is necessary to ever get past those problems, so I'm gonna celebrate it! This makes the Bronco "real" from my perspective, so it's an important milestone.
  20. Broncos showing up at dealers

Not sure there's anything to report. As I understand it dealers are free to use their mannequins however they please. Some will stay in the showroom, some will be demos. I've seen a post or two about dealers who plan to use them as their service transportation vehicle.
