  1. Bronco Raptor Takes On Tigerton, WI OHV Park **Video**

Im just trying to talk myself into a Braptor so I can get those digital gauges.
  2. Bronco Raptor Takes On Tigerton, WI OHV Park **Video**

That was my thoughts as well. I need to see one in person and see how wide it really is. I have a Badlands on 37 and coilovers so it flexes pretty good but the Raptor is enticing me.
  3. Bronco Raptor Takes On Tigerton, WI OHV Park **Video**

Hey any issues with the width of the Raptor on trails like this? That is my biggest hesitation with the Raptor vs my Badlands. east coast mtns are narrow trails compared to out west.

Quick vid from last weekends trip to Prentice Cooper in Chattanooga. Didn't get to film much since I was with a large group and didn't want to slow anyone down. Also didn't get to hit Haley rd.... Good excuse to go back and explore more!
  5. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

They are still a ways out. I think they mentioned January or feb 2023
  6. Exploring off-the-shelf tie rod upgrades

IMO its only an issue when lifted and on some bigger tires. I wheeled mine pretty hard stock sasquatch and was fine. Snapped a tie rod on my second trip once I was on the icons and 37's. The climb I was doing was wet and muddy so I had to bump it up over the last ledge. Tie rod said NOPE not...

Even nice coil-over lifts will get your tie rods in bad angles that will make them fail. If you look at the tie rod at full droop you will see how bad the angles are. I knew what I was getting into and had spares on hand. Its part of lifting and offroading new vehicles.
  8. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

Yea I think I'm around 3in lift how I have them setup. I will drop the upgraded rack in as soon as Ford releases the software to make it work. Already snapped one tie rod in the meantime lol
  9. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

I'm running the ICON stg 4 coil-overs, rock jock lower rear links and 37 BFG KM3's
  10. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

mine popped out very easily the 2 times I have taken it out. Little whack and good to go
  11. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

apparently the HOSS 3.0 inner tierods work on the standard rack so don't see why these wouldn't if that is the case.
  12. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

Im running your stg 4 coilovers and snapped my passenger inner tie rod on an pretty basic climb. That is why I was asking about angles. So even with the droop on your coilovers it's still enough to snap them. I am running 37's and I'm not upset, just looking for an actual solution to prevent...
  13. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

Do these offer more articulation angle than OEM? The angles the tie rods get into is what is causing them to snap from my understanding. Any worry that just making the rods stronger it damages the steering rack?
  14. ICON XD Forged Tie Rods

They are not a difficult swap. I did my passenger on a trail in the woods in about 1.5hrs from broke to fixed. I put in a ranger tie rod and then swapped to an oem one when I got home. Took about 30 mins in my garage. Will have to get an alignment afterwards of course. I do have plenty of...
  15. New Upgraded Tie Rods option possibly

Just saw a post on FB from the company who makes these for Cherokees. Seems like the extra angles these allow could help with lifts and bigger tires. I have been worried about bracing or throwing strong tie rods on and then destroying the rack because of the angles. I've snapped 1 oem inner so...
  16. Remote mount compressor in rear of Bronco.

Thank you, this is good info. I will look into solutions for a ground. Do you think it would be better to run the power wire through the cabin or keep it under the vehicle with some kind of protective wrap etc?
  17. Remote mount compressor in rear of Bronco.

I do have a 4 tire hose setup and avg time to fill all 4 tires from 15ish to 35 is around 4-5mins with my 37's. Just hate having to carry everything to the front and hook it up to the battery to then just take it back to the back to store it.
  18. Remote mount compressor in rear of Bronco.

I'm looking to run some power wires to the rear of my Bronco and use one of these style connects to power my MAxiTrac air compressor. What gauge wire do you think I should use and possible routing locations for the wires? Just thinking through this as it would be much more convenient to have...
  19. Bronco trip to 5313 Off-Road Park in Calhoun GA.

Fun trip with 7 Broncos to an Off-Road park just north of Atlanta. Had to do a trailside tie rod replacement but it wasn't too bad and I drove it home without incident.
