  1. Gillespie Ford charges 10 grand in dealer hardship fees?!

If you have emails where the dealer confirmed the price you should take it to a lawyer instead of online. That's enough that they'd be willing to work with, and oftentimes the dealer would back down just to avoid the headache. As we've seen, negative reviews can be dodged, and dealers will...
  2. How much over $MSRP did your dealer offer to buy your Bronco ?

Would be tough to turn down. I'd probably drive down the road, have a burger, and come right back. Sell it and reorder it in the same sitting lol.
  3. So…..How many 2021 Broncos were produced?

It gets old real quick. Had an Indian FTR race replica at launch, every time I rode cruiser guys would heckel me "That one of them there new Harley sport bikes???" "I didn't know Indian was making bikes like that, when you gonna get a real motorcycle?" I still get heckled on my Zero constantly...
  4. Hitchmount-Rack on my softop OBX!

I'd imagine that with this being an auto enthusiast message board a lot of us, myself included, have a background in engineering. I initially had the same thoughts as everyone else about it flying away, but ultimately common sense says "if it works, it works". That's one goofy looking rack OP...
  5. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Absolutely unreal. Just goes to show that this is even more prevalent than what we're seeing on this forum alone.
  6. Best Model for Resale

As far flipping it immediately for a profit I'd wager, First Edition, then Wildtrak, then OBX. Majority of people that are going to buy the bronco well over sticker are in it for vanity, not performance. And those three models (despite all being really good options) will probably appeal to less...
  7. Trail sights accessories?

You've gotta admit that the bronco script badge does look pretty good though! Other than that I think you'll keep seeing this or bone stock builds for a while. I know my (alleged) Bronco will stay mostly stock for quite some time.
  8. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

Don't know that I'd call it a loss as much as a change. It seems like a fair number of people enjoy their soft tops as much as the hard top folks like theirs.
  9. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

I see a lot of mixed takes on the road noise levels. I'm used to motorcycles, wife drives a convertible, and I've had convertible mustangs in the past. Strangely enough the loudest car I've ever owned (road noise wise) was my F-Type coupe. Given all of the experience with noisy vehicles...
  10. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

Manual transmission was the only reason I chose the 2.3. If they mated the 7spd to the 2.7 I (and many others) would be on that like a fly on a :poop:
  11. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

I haven't test driven any yet, I've only sat in the mannequins. While being able to do a comparative testing like you did would be awesome, I'm hoping for the ignorance is bliss approach to work out in my favor. I won't have driven a hard top, so for better or worse I'll get to experience the...
  12. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

This was kind of my thinking too. Especially with the hard top prep kit being thrown on now as well. Meanwhile if I ever really get the itch I'll either trade the bronco years from now, or pick up a beat snake skin MIC 2.0 while the forum is arguing about whether MIC 6.0 or 6.1 is better...
  13. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

That's really good to hear since most of my driving will be in SC/NC. We don't exactly get winter weather in coastal SC, so my only exposure will be taking the truck up to western NC during the winter. Should be totally fine with the limited exposure to snow. I think what really steered me...
  14. Finally Caved For Soft Top - Who Else?

So after having the same nice long wait that many of you have had, I finally caved in and changed my order to a soft top. Ford gave me time to think, and that I did. I figured if I was going to change to a soft top I might as well take care of anything else that I was on the fence about. That...
  15. Keeping her semi stock anyone?

If it's the same as my other Fords I have had, I'll be changing the crappy 2-piece lug nuts immediately. Other than that I'd say it'll remain stock, save for some running boards once we get some good aftermarket options.
  16. I need this for my Bronco.

I'd imagine it's sitting somewhere in a warehouse next to the LED wheel rings and one aisle over from the squat suspension kits :ROFLMAO:
  17. And this is why I want MGV instead of leather...

I was a little bummed about interior options on the Wildtrak. No MGV and no Roast/Black option. If I could've gone with Roast/Black cloth I would've in a heartbeat. I got concerned the cloth sandstone seats would get grungy looking real quick, so I bit the bullet and went leather again.
  18. Bronco Constraints Commodities - as of 10/27

    Basically non-existent blend on my Wildtrak w/ MIC, towing, lux. But it's not a 2-door ...so you're saying there's a chance? 😜
  19. 2022 Big Bend - My Build, Your Opinions

I'll vouch for the 2.7, it's been a great motor in my F150. Thought I would miss the 5.0, but aside from the sound it's been just as good if not better. Even then, I'm not really one for aftermarket exhausts on trucks so I'm sure the engine note in the bronco will be barely noticeable vs. the...
  20. Do we receive a new email when re-ordering a 2022 model?

Got it yesterday around noon EST. Ordered as soon as '22 banks opened as well.
