Having just done a swap to the 2025 digital cluster personally, this feels like a disaster waiting to happen. Especially with mileage accuracy and what not just to save $500
Wooo congrats! Havenāt figured out the seatbelt thing yet and an interesting note about the blinker noise. Mine is super quiet as well but I didnāt even think about it being played through the speakers previously.
Will dig into forscan again next week when Iām back home
Honestly I feel like if you haven't had any reliability issues it isn't worth upgrading. I reprice my spec every year and my $56k Badlands is now $72k which is just insane.
The other thing is you can slowly upgrade your existing vehicle with the parts from later model years pretty easily...
So uh @Ducati1098 how confident are we in N2DZ-78044D70-AA being the right bezel part number? Trying to figure out if my parts department screwed up or not because I've got a box with that number but the part inside is the old bezel
EDIT: hah just kidding I ordered the wrong part...
Yes itāll figure out that you only want to do the IPC! I think the logic here is you write the 25 data because it needs to know what sensors to look for. If you write the 23 data it literally has fewer rows and wonāt line up
American Adventure Lab makes them as well. The only issue is you need to remove the third brake light and possibly get a wheel spacer to push the space away from the swing gate to make room.
Ooooo good point I hadnāt considered. Lux would probably be the right choice as you said since the only difference would be a lack of radar cruise. I tested it this morning after seeing your post and it has different animations when radar cruise is turned off so should work!
I think your points are fair! Honestly the big thing for me is I just think it's kind fun to keep my 22 up to the same level with stuff they've added to later model years. Now that the HOSS 3.0 Fox coilovers are purchasable through Ford Performance I'll probably eventually pull the trigger on...
Bingo! I would also save the as built again after you install the new one but before you write the 25 data. And actually I didn't even have to update mileage because the dealer asked for mine when I ordered it and it came with exactly that number already.
For getting the as built data, you can...
I was not able to find the part for purchase anywhere online, and tbh $845 sounds too low. It's super important you get the exact part number mentioned previously in the thread, it needs to start with an S. To my knowledge it can only be ordered by an official dealer parts department though a...
I only wrote the as built data from the 25 for the IPC via Forscan. Thatās super important, 100% do not write the as built for any other modules because I assume youāll have major issues. And of course back up your existing as built data both before you unplug the old cluster and again before...
No but to be totally honest it took me about five hours to figure out that literally all I had to do was write the As Built data from a 2025 with matching options to make everything work. That in itself took ~5 seconds, so a lot of time to find the right path but now that we know thatās all it...
