Oh ok, I didn’t realize you spoke to “Ford”. I guess the “official” label of this post is justified then. Great work!

What makes this “Official”? Nearly every dealer build (non custom order) I have seen in my area has the modular bumper. If the modular bumper was such a large constraint I don’t think Ford would be throwing them on every base, big bend and black diamond they are shipping to dealers.

For those getting your window stickers please update the spreadsheet with your blend date, place in line and rotation number. This will help us track where production is throughout next week.

I got my window sticker this morning! Moved up to a Monday 5/2 build date, was previously at Friday 5/6.

My build day moved from 4/25 to 5/6 on Friday. Doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason behind getting bumped and how far out they move you. I just hope I don’t continue to get bumped week after week like a lot of others here have.

Just confirmed with chat that I am still scheduled for a Monday 4/25 build. This means I should get my window sticker early next week. Is anybody else getting excited yet?

My guess is it’s a sales person from the dealer that started this thread finding this post months later and now defending their crazy mark up.

That’s incorrect to my knowledge. You can do the 4.27 + locker with out the Advanced 4x4. They are two separate items and are $795 each. Unless this is something that has changed recently. If you pull it up in the build tool you can add either alone or both together. The price will update...

On the OBX the 4.27 gearing plus locker is +$795. The Advanced 4x4 is another +$795 which didn’t make it a no brainer for me. I was happy paying for the better gearing and locker but wasn’t going to pay extra and add a known constraint for the Advanced 4x4.

I have seen a few dealer builds here in GA (blue WS) with the 4.27 axle. I’m guessing it just doesn’t add much value in certain regions. This is exactly what I did. While waiting on our BD SAS, we ordered a BB with the 4.27 locker to avoid the longer wait that comes with adding SAS and to keep...

Akins Ford seems to have a good reputation here for delivering orders at MSRP. I am guessing there is more to this story then we are currently getting out of OP.
