Looks like the "Bean Counters" gained even more control over the design than the Marketing Group.
#FoMoCo ...... This Was/Is a BAD Mistake which should be corrected!!!!
Correct.
Maybe #FoMoCo should look into designing a mechanical leaver that can override the angle limit momentarily for off road situations, as the Bronco is advertised as an off rode capable vehicle.
smh..... just think that this would be a Non-issue IF #FoMoCo would just use the Tried & True design.......... you know...... the Manual Hand Park/Emergency Brake Leaver.
On the video above, at/around the 1:30 mark it was mentioned that the RTR was One of Two New Vehicle Relaces for 2027........
Something in the Bronco Family or one of the others???????
As a Single Old Guy, "My" comfort within a vehicle that I'm owning/selecting for my personal usage requires it to be comfortable to Me. The 2D currently fits that requirement, as the "B" Pillar of the driver's door area is further aft than it is on the 4D, hence, for me, it's comfortable. The...
@crenca , for one, the Wrangler still has the Manuel Emergency/Park Brake. Which is a totally different system vs. the current total electric system on the Bronco. By being two separate systems, it helps to eliminate the possibility of total brake systems failure. It also allows the use of the...
I've been on this forum for a long time, just look at the date in my avatar...
To date.... I haven't purchased a Bronco. There are things that IMHO FoMoCo hasn't captured enough of the OG Broncos. Too many electronic modules controlling too many critical systems, that if they fail, you're...
This was posted in the 2D Tuesday thread in the photos section.
Ford did show a Cliffhanger concept a few months ago..... so were they (Ford) out testing one or did someone cobble this up to "look" like a Raptor?
The only logic that I can currently think of is..... the Sport is built in a different factory. Now if Orange Fury shows up as 2026 Ranger color, then I will agree with you in questioning why isn't it offered on the Bronco?
The Stroppe should have been a Rap not a Paint, as I don't care for the color combination, but would have definitely bought one if the Rap could have easily been removed.
Ford definitely missed some low hanging fruit with what they're currently offering for the 2026. They could EASILY offer as...
I don't care to have a Turbo as well, but one of the current V8's that I could easily add a Whipple SC to.... well.... that would be music to my ears!!!!
It's highly unlikely that there will be any significant changes for the 2026MY.
Now with Scout coming out for the 2027MY with the new Scout and other offerings, that's when FoMoCo should and more than likely, have a Gen 6.5 or Gen 7 to release.

Great job!
Now for a suggestion......
-Like mentioned above..... aluminum extrusion subframe.
-Side Access Hatches (lockable)- as in two fairly small openings (one on each side) that you access when standing beside the vehicle. That would allow for quicker access for smaller items.
Again, just...
Well..... 2026 or 2027 "might" be the MY Bronco that I'll buy.
I know that other manufactures have done revisions at the 3-4 year marks. Nothing major, but enough to add the .5 to the model gen.
Time will tell, but if they'd give us a 2D Raptor, like the Cliffhanger Concept (doesn't have to...
I've been waiting a long time for a Bronco that IMHO better represents the EB.
<--- Just look at when I joined this forum.
Anyone that has been here for a while should have already seen my post about what I believe a 2D Bronco should & shouldn't be.
As for your "reliable source"...... any...
