Got a new winch bumper to my door for $300 so could not pass that up. Keeps factory fogs which made me very happy.
Only issue was one bracket with a nut weld on a few mils off center. Augured out the opening until I could get to threads.
Next: PPF and the ARB...
Yep. And if the backstory is to be believed it’s a nice gesture that never needed to be a thing for everyone because that’s just stupid.
Jeep equals off-road minivan now.
The stupid duck thing factored into my decision to go Bronco this time. I had 3 Jeeps in the years before the duck dipshittery began. No thanks. No longer my tribe. That And Stellantis made the Jeep way too refined.
did you try these guys? They got a shout out on the upfitter switch thread. Maybe they can help?
Sharing one other shout out to Hayley at Mangold Ford's Parts Department.
Their staff made this happen. They are knowledgeable and who we can thank for all the diagrams I've shared. If you need...
Most minivans are slower than a Bronco short of AMG performance stuff. Bronco with a basic ProCal tune is in the 6s. They may not be speed demons but for 5500 pounds of off-road freedom machine, that really is pretty good acceleration...
It may be a 4 banger but 300hp is hardly “no go”. Never thought there would be a “stripe police” subset in the Bronco forum. What’s next? Only people who actually go to Baja can have lights or it’s a waste?
Only reason I’m buying the Ford Performance tune. Shifting that isn’t complete dog poop. Hoping it resolves the main problem.
Bar graph RPM gauge decimal driven. Just WTF.
I hate the RPM gauge (bar graph ?) so much I didn’t even look to be honest. I assume top of the arc. 4500-5000 I’ll try it again and see. I moved to 91 to see if that is a factor.
10 speeds auto doing its own shifting
I’m 500 miles into ownership bought used with 4500 miles. The engine seems to lose its mind if you try to accelerate WOT. Shift 3/4 usually results in same strange stutter like it blew off all the boost then a bad shift then continue.
