WT in production on 8/6, received the email just now.
"Your Bronco™ VIN # XXX.... is scheduled to have its hardtop roof replaced in November based on your production date and prioritization of oldest units first."
Fingers crossed for a Bronco by Christmas
If retail price was the motive Badlands would go before WT's. I bought a WT to save $. Retail price doesn't reflect margin but I suspect the more optioned the better for Ford. It sounds like they are going FIFO and it would be fair to put the FE's at the first of the order.
MIC or soft top? I went into prod on 8/6 with a MIC top and still there. If you search hard enough on Dirt Mountain there is a 4DR, White, Wildtrak with my name on it
in theory they will but like 99% of after market subs they are still in waiting pattern to come up with a recommendation. Its a filter to come to the speaker recommends where it states:
Sorry, we haven't researched your vehicle yet, so we are unable to confirm which products fit at this time...
waiting for the Crutchfield Bronco basic upgrade package. I think I will get better output sourcing speakers and a quality amp just funding audio and getting it out of the package upgrade approach. I have B&O in my Audi and its pretty nice but wouldnt compel me to a pricey package
Agreed, i'd be surprised if its a Christmas Bronco. My question was also why is it a MY 21? Don't most car brands flip to the next year in the fall? Is this just Ford clinging to the story of shipping many units in MY 2021?
Estimated Dealer Delivery N/A, in production on 8/6/2021. Likely parked on Dirt Mtn.
So expecting no Mics will be delivered until late Oct at the earliest and likely Nov & Dec if that early. Why are we getting MY 21? Shouldn't these be called MY 22?
you mean left the factory floor and sat parked in the Dirt Mountain lot for 60 days. Mine will certainly need a wash after all its been through in its young life
Conversation at aftermarket parts manufacturer:
Product Manager: Hey boss, I want to build a bunch of stuff for the new Ford Bronco. Tops, dash rails, fancy doors, speaker systems, the works!
Manager: How many units can you sell?
Product Manager: Not sure, but i'm really excited about it...
I'm considering the retro stripes on a 4DR Wildtrak that may make it off the sandlot before Christmas. Question, did the hood sticker cover the factory black? What's your opinion on the stripes? Solid white is very plain on the 4DR so something will get stickered on for sure
Did you get a quote to leather wrap the dash? Seems difficult. The seats, door cards, center console, steering wheel/shifter not so much. That interior is the "LUX" offering that should have been. I'll stick with my stock upholstery until it looks dead :)
My production date moved from 6/21, to 7/5 to 8/2 and it went into production the last week of July. It stalled last week while the shop closed I think. It still shows in production today and I refresh the site 20 times a day waiting for "built". We'll see. It sounds like some Broncos are...
