  1. Using the Bronco the way they (somewhat) intended in ‘66 -- farm, ranch, agriculture

How is the ARB Summit bumper on the Bronco, I have one on my Ranger and love it and thinking about putting one on the Bronco as well. How much lift did you lose with the weight?
  2. The Baddest Baja Bronco Wildtrak build - StealthMode

Highly Recommend Doetsch Off-road. Did some great work on my Bronco as well. (Nothing to this extent but awesome nonetheless).
  3. Badlands non-SAS wheel beauty ring color?

2" Zone Lift, 35's and 1 1/2" spacers. Completely different rig, sits an inch higher than Sasquatch and handles the trails great. No issues on road either.
  4. Interesting message on PTS about warranty & aftermarket modifications: "Using the vehicle off-road is not a justification to deny warranty coverage."

Pretty tough to deny a warranty claim where there is something like a properly done lift involved when they emboss LIFT ME BABY on the fender liners! :) And when it is used off-road when advertised as an off-road vehicle. There are so many bad dealer service departments out there.
  5. BL non vs SAS

We have a Non-Sas Manual Badlands. I was able to pick up a set of 35" takeoffs with very few miles on them. Did a 2" Zone Lift, kept the stock optional Badlands wheels and added 1 1/2" Bora Spacers to adjust the offset to +17 (Standard sas is +30 and non-sas is +55 stock I believe) removed...

@desibull We always have plenty of spares that we can loan you. No worries there. Radio on group runs is a borderline must.

@desibull just show up!! We are usually at the staging area about 30 mins early and hit the trail about 15-20 mins after the meet up time once we’re aired down etc… honestly, if you’re running late, it’s tough because so many rigs are there. Mostly late means you have to catch up! We will...
  8. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

I saw a video a while back where a guy broke them on a trail with Vaughn Gittin and crew. He does a great job explaining why, in this case, they broke and it was because of the lift on 37's that was not done properly, thus messing up the geometry. He also summarized that there are a number of...
  9. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

We have a Badlands Non Sas the we lifted 2 inches and put 35's on. We have wheeled it pretty hard with no tie rod issues (knock on wood) but we do carry an extra set. Much of what I have seen has to do with lifts being done that mess too much with the geometry. Not concerned with the type of...
  10. Can I install a 3in lift and keep my factory whheels without using spacers?

There is about an inch of Poke with the non-sasquatch fender flares. Gives a nice look IMO. We have RokBlokz flaps and don't have issues with rock chips etc...

  12. Can I install a 3in lift and keep my factory whheels without using spacers?

Funny you ask because I just posted an update to this. Had this done this fall. 2" Zone Lift/Level (2" front 1" Back) , put 35's on the stock optional Badlands Non Sasquatch wheels. Used a Bora 1 1/2" spacer (hub centric)... Crash bars removed. It sits about 1" higher than a Sasquatch now...
  13. Best 2” lift for Badlands non-squach

Update on mine since my original answer back in November. Zone 2" with 35's on stock Badlands Optional Wheels with 1 1/2" Bora Spacers. Non Sas Flares. We have run this pretty hard on some difficult trails. No failures or issues with the lift or the wheel spacers. Went to re-torque and all...

I actually told my wife last night to be prepared in case we got pulled over for no apparent reason in our CO Bronco... Thankfully, we don't own or pull a side by side and were on the other side of town. This really stinks! So sorry for your loss.

  19. Jeep is more affordable

I usually don't participate in these posts but...... Pretty interesting title here so I had to look it over.... I just spent a little time (15 mins that I will never get back) and looked at 4 Jeep dealers where we live. I could not find a Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with a GAS engine (Not...
  20. So what about CD (compact discs)? How to play them in the Bronco

There are a bunch of Portable USB CD Players out there along with Bluetooth devices that you can plug in to a headphone jack with a tuner that tunes to an FM station on your radio.
