Great question! Yes, when you turn on the Bronco, the camera is powered on, and when you turn off the Bronco, the camera is powered off. The power to the mirror is only available when the Bronco is on, or in ACC mode.

I put mine on the right hand side of the mirror bracket, in front of the mirror. There’s no camera/sensor there to block.

I sketched this last night for the 4-door. Could do with some work, but not bad for 20 mins!

Here's a rough sketch I did of a 4 door version. I'd rock them! The opening probably needs to be slightly lower, but it get's the idea across.
