My Denver dealer is charging MSRP + $1200, he has 260 orders and has shown me my spot in line (not sure that they really know very accurately - so as a matter of conjecture its not super accurate, given commodity constraints). One might quibble with MSRP plus, but in the scheme of things ... ...

It is MSSRP - manufacturers strongly suggested retail price. Others charge ADM because they can get it.

I think Ford was upfront … they had to react to the Grangers of their world? I am sure they reserve the right to change it at any time.

It’s tough for Ford to control pricing to the high end … the only way is to build vehicles quickly - there always seems to be some aHole who has to impress by being the first.

Agreed - read between the lines … Ford is discouraging discounting off MSRP and discouraging discounting to grow business at the expense of other Ford dealers. Does Tesla discount? It’s the new business model.

Maybe Ford is smacking a dealer selling below MSRP? Do you see this as mostly a Granger issue? I’m in Denver so no dog in that hunt.

Are there dealers who are getting more allocation than orders? I'd love to get that list. Do you believe these are large dealers or small dealers?

My point is we don't really know that ... if they produce more than what has been allocated across all dealers where does the excess go? My guess is they'll reallocate. I'm not saying the allocation scheme is fair or that I agree with it, just wondering if it's doomsday.

I may be missing something ... the assumption everyone is making is that the sum of all dealer allocations for 2022 is less than or equal to 2022 production. Does anyone know for a fact or have a reasonable set of numbers that indicates this is true? I'm not saying it isn't, I'm just asking...

Not the same? The value of the voucher is determined by the increase in the model you had on order - so far most option prices seem unchanged - you can apply the voucher to another model, that is the distinction.
