I have to disable it in my Navigator every time I start it. When the ASS restarts, it slams into gear. It’s been shifting harsh for a while… probably should schedule it with Lincoln, but they’re a PITA to deal with.
I guess it depends on which direction we run the trail. We could meet up at the Eagle Canyon Arch, or plan to end Saturday there. There is camping near the East end of the trail on the north side of the 70. That’s also on the Green river side which is the closest fuel.
There’s lots of room at the arch, and it’s not as windy there either. I’d be good with that, and by the cabin as a backup if someone beats us to it. Not likely, but I like options.
Also, need to keep an eye on weather. That area gets flash floods. I got stuck in the area just southwest of goblin valley an extra night because of rain. Luckily I was out of the slot canyon before the river formed.
