IMO this has become question #1 for me to know how to move forward. I don't want to take delivery of a MY21 just a few weeks ahead of seeing somebody in a green MY22 I coulda had. Good grief.
Sincerely, Thanks for the additional info. I just hate that it still can be taken either way. The statement that you can "defer" to when the MY22 order banks open still seems ambiguous as to whether or not you hold your place in line. At this point, with the given info I've seen....I want to...
I know This doesn't "prove" anybody right or wrong, but this paragraph from the BN Q&A thread does reinforce what you said, that you could opt for MY22 and wait. According to this, Ford actually recommends not converting, and waiting till more info comes out on the MY22's....
@Fatdaddy awesome man! I called my dealer yesterday and he was a bit surprised I was asking questions about allocations when they had just gotten out the meeting with corporate Ford talking about that very thing LOL. They really have no idea how well informed this forum is. Waiting on answers...
PING....
just checking in on my Louisiana people, yall still here? Who still got a reservation? Who has talked to their dealer, what's their story on allocation?
I called mine yesterday for the first time since November, and asked those questions. No answers yet
This is 100% on-point. Also I will NOT be revealing the name of the tiny Mom n Pop sized dealership I got my 7/18 reservation with. They actually don't exist, look elsewhere suckas!
Of all the possible ways for them to handle allocations/orders I've read today, I'm hoping this is how they ALL handle it. (Not calling what you said a speculation, obviously you are telling us what your dealer said). It makes sense to me and also seems more fair than the situation where a...
Got to page 12 on this thread, skipped the rest. Called my dealer, going talk to them about ordering. Gonna express my reservations about my reservation (reservation reservations? -Brian Regan ?). My plan going forward is to #1 Not speculate about this anymore, the calculus is what it is...
"....What if you just want to wait until the 2022 model year for all those extra options and new colors? Just let your dealer know and they can take your name down for a MY22 Bronco order."
WHAT does this actually mean? Is my reservation doing anything for me at that point IF I chose this...
HAHA dude this is me every weekend. As SOOOON as my tires hit the dirt roads of the hunting club my hand is reaching for that GD Advance Trac/Traction Control button. I cuss for the entire 5 seconds I have to hold it down to get all that monkeyshit turned off.
Nothing pisses me off worse...
I agree, based on my understanding of what the different GOAT modes actually "do". Granted, I only watched one video where they were demonstrating a few GOAT modes. My understanding from that video is that the GOAT mode just presets different combinations of lockers, 4WD modes etc, things that...
Everytime I sit down to B&P I end up at this exact philosophy. Either save a ton and go base, or swing all the way up to BL (for me anyway, BL is "Top")
....and another thing....
I realize this is comparing apples to typewriters and is also just one anecdotal example....but walk along with me here for a sec....I got a 2000 model Honda 450 four wheeler I bought brand new. I'm not going google the specs, but I do recall laughing at the max load...
