It's a red/orange is how I describe it. Some days/pictures it looks orange. Other days it looks red. Mine is thr only HPR one I've seen in MN where I live

As I said they are unpainted. Currently wrapped gloss black. But painting them shouldn't be much especially if you get the handles at the same time. Last picture shows the wrap line and you can see the unpainted cap behind it
