  1. Roof Racks - Storage and Tent, Gear & Beer Packing and Transport in the 2 Door Bronco

Given the limits to the roof loading I'm likely going with an overlanding trailer - either one I make/build or buy. Wife wants the lower RTT and a trailer fits that nicely. Also frees up the top of the Bronco for kayaks/etc AND makes it easy to go wheeling during the day away from camp.
  2. Your MGV interior is dirty. Do you vacuum it or hose it down?

Good reason, I was simply curious and thought it was for NVH and was correct. Thanks!
  3. In your mind, Bronco compares to what?

Just hopefully less flippy and murdery
  4. Ford. If you are reading this. Some suggestions before launch

What we really need is a 2 door on the 4 door frame/platform. Remake the Scout II type of SUV!!
  5. Morimoto Lights

Wow. When it comes to my business I put aside all of my personal issues in favor of what the customer wants/needs and what will make me money. There are certain brands I HATE but that I sell like crazy because the customers like them. Would I stop stocking them because I had a bad experience...
  6. Ditch the towing package for now and get one from Ford or aftermarket later to avoid any delays?

On my Tacoma it's actually quite a package. Class IV hitch, 7 way trailer wire plug, oil and trans cooler and included trailer brake controller that's plug and play. But the Taco also tows 6500#, not 3500#.
  7. What Green color for 2022?

That Focus color looks fine on a hot hatch, not so much on a rugged boxy vehicle. But I will 100% take that second color with a little sparkle. But by the time I'm ready to get mine I might have a loaded Army Green Taco in my driveway and $20k extra in my pocket 🤷‍♂️
  8. What Green color for 2022?

I'll join you in that last line if it is indeed Grabber Lime. Ford - just copy Toyota please. Army Green. Also - why in the heck is there not a khaki color? Or any kind of brown at all? HUGE oversight!
  9. 2021 BRONCO VIN 001 – SOLD at Barrett Jackson Auction for $1,075,000! [Updated w/ Videos]

Let's not forget this was an auction for charity and in reality this is just a nice $1m tax writeoff for someone with a $75k Bronco order attached.
  10. Drop Weight. Besides less beer, what can I do to strip a badlands for my DD? Lighten up!

I'm sure the top and all that makes SOME difference but I'm willing to be 90% of the difference is the winter/summer gas blend, especially in Michigan. Down here in OK and TX the difference isnt' as stark but I do notice it - 1-2 MPG on my Tacoma.
  11. Drop Weight. Besides less beer, what can I do to strip a badlands for my DD? Lighten up!

It jumps that much because winter and summer gas are different and winter gas gives lower MPG.
  12. Rumor Alert - MY22 gets 3.0 V6 Ecoboost option + Army Green, Grabber Yellow colors

Ford (Levine I think) has already tweeted that 22 would get a green color. So that's happening and it's one of the reasons I'm code 99 right now.
  13. First 2021 Bronco (VIN 001) Will Be Auctioned at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

For reference - a friend of mine bought Vin #001 of the 2nd gen Viper. $100k MSRP and at auction he got it for $220k. That auction was the first time it was sold, he got personal delivery from Sergio Marchionne and everything. I feel the new Bronco is similar - a remake of an icon that...
  14. Prediction: What month/year do you think you will get yours?? Based on Reservation date..

July 14th Reservation - 4 or 5 of the 6 deadly sins. Code 99 from the start because I want green! If I had to guess? May 2022. Nice B-day present. 2022 production is supposed to start Dec 2021 right?
  15. Why does Bronco stand out ?

This is the correct answer. Jeep had no competition for the longest time and didn't need to improve on anything because what else would you buy? Ford fixed most of the issues that Jeep owners just dealt with. I've always wanted an open-air off-roader but I NEVER wanted a Jeep. I was...
  16. Bronco Break-In on long drives after delivery

Thanks! I searched but that didn't come up somehow.
  17. Bronco Break-In on long drives after delivery

I see quite a few people on the forum that plan to go to a dealer 4,6,8+ hours away for final delivery and drive their Bronco home. Have things changed with new vehicles and they no longer need specific driving to break in the engine during the first 1,000 miles or so? Are people planning to...
