    Sport mode should automatically select 4A, so you're good.

    That should work. I just run the tether for the harness over the top of the seat and attach the clip to the back of the seat.

    I have the same antenna with a magnetic mount base in the top of the roll bar, which isn't much higher, and I can hit a repeater 20 miles away with a handheld radio.
