Totally unscientific, but I've read a bunch of these threads and, understanding that this is an incredibly small sample size versus the total number of Bronco's sold, there does not seem to be any kind of correlation between things like climate, garaging, etc.
So, my sense based on that, is...
These are the 255/85/17s on the stock BD alloys. I lifted (about 2" over stock) with Eibach Protruck coilovers and put a 1" hubcentric spacer on. Mine is not a Sasquatch. Love the setup.
P.S. in doing some research on here others indicated the MTs in that size fit without a lift or spacers but...
I could be wrong but pretty sure I just read an article that indicated shadow black and oxford white are the only non-upcharge colors for job 2. Maybe it's just the website?
Edit: here's the article I read: Color Changes, More Top Options, and Wildtrak’s Return: 2026 Bronco Updates - Bronco...
I have the Magic Box 2.0. Also got it mostly so kids could watch movies in the back. Works reasonably well but sometimes the Bronco absolutely will not link up with it. Not sure if that's a Bronco issue or a Magic Box issue. It also sometimes randomly disconnects, which is frustrating when...
I looked at aftermarket wheels and there were few options that are lightweight. My personal favorites were the RTR Evo 6 in 17" (~23lbs) and someone on here posted recently about a Black Rhino Rapid 17 x 8.5 0 offset wheel that weighed 23 lbs. I don't know how these wheels will hold up to hard...
Nice, thank you for the recs. I'm gonna plan to start with the easy stuff (e.g. Nimblewill) this year since at the moment I don't have a compressor (yet) and have very basic recovery gear. I know that I will get the bug once I do a couple of those. Had a blast at the off rodeo in TN last Feb.
I was looking at Nimblewill and Iron Stab (closer to me I'm in Marietta) but getting conflicting info on whether Iron Stab is open or not. I've got a Black Diamond non-Sas but recently lifted about 2" with Eibach pro truck coilovers and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss (34.6"). I was also looking at...
Same - my wife and I did it this time last year and we had an awesome time. She was too spooked to drive but she enjoyed seeing what the Bronco can do. Guides are fantastic, trails are nice, people were great, all around good time.
That makes sense, but my MIC top had several defects on the surface anyway. If the wrap needs to be replaced and it damages the MIC top when it comes off I would reevaluate at that time.
