3-17 Blend date- Shipped on the 23rd. Through the Ford Marketing phone number 800-334-4375 i have gotten updates. Monday was in Illinois most likely switching to Union Pacific. Early Friday morning it was somewhere in Kansas. Hopefully in El Paso or farther west Monday morning.
Next stop should be Blue Island Illinois where it will switch to Union Pacific for the ride west. I went through there and was somewhere in Kansas as of early this morning.
Called the chat line this morning. Chat said Ford changed their policy and will no longer give out rail car info. Said my rig headed for AZ in a train car sitting in Illinois. Made it 300 miles in a week. At this pace June delivery.
Ford chat said Ford changed their policy and will no longer give out train car information. Only way now if maybe your dealer. My 3-17 blend date heading for AZ is on a train car in Illinois currently
Is this just an urban legend? I do not see one rail car # listed in the spread sheets for months. My dealer has not found the info yet and was looking. How do you find the rail car number you are loaded in. Ford CS tells you check the tracker which is useless at this point.
All depends on what kinda snow. Had a Jeep with 35's lockers and really struggled on a day when a stock Yota on skinnys drove by without spinning a tire. Lockers didn't help. I ended up just stuffing 2 wheels in the ditch to find some traction. It worked.
