I'm not trying to race an offroad vehicle on road, I'm not going to be doing highway speeds offroad, the 2.3L has way more power than my last truck (5sp manual - 180hp & 202ft/lbs), I'm going to be mainly using it going slow on trails and rock crawling.
2.3L 7sp 2dr Badlands or me, a very easy...
Synthetic ropes are waaaaay stronger.
The Master Pull Superline XD 3/8" rope has a breaking strength of 21 700 pounds as where a Warn 5/16" wire cable is rated at only 9000 pounds (according to the Warn website).
Added bonus is that if your rope happens to break out on the trail, you can do a...
Hello,
I have a Warn 9.5xp winch with a steel cable and am looking at the possibility of converting it to synthetic rope.
Besides changing the roller to a hawse fairlead, will I also have to change the drum? Do synthetics use a different style drum?
Thanks in advance for all replies.
I hope the 12v outlets are live 100% of the time, or at least the one in the rear cargo area.
My '04 Xterra had 4 12v outlets, 2 were live all the time, rear cargo and center console. Super handy.
My 2004 had no anti slip and just a limited slip rear. It went absolutely anywhere, never had a situation where I needed a full locker or anti slip.
That said, I'm getting a Badlands with all the goodies.
I'm basing it off my 54L Coleman Extreme cooler. My friend and I go for a week long camp once a year, we are limited to the amount of perishable food we can take because of the amount of ice it needs. So, I'm getting a Dometic CFX3 45L fridge, it will hold way more food because it doesn't...
Great deal. Too bad I'm not in the market for one right now, otherwise I'd jump all over it. I'm going for the CFX3 45 too.
I think I will also get the Dometic fridge slide, probably with the cutting board.
Whatever you do, DO NOT get a Koolatron, Coleman or Domtec 12v electric "cooler". They only cool to a maximum 40F below ambient temperature. Your food will still go bad even though you have a "cooler".
You need to research either Dometic or ARB style fridge/freezer. They go down to around 14F.

When a number follows a letter, it's showing that there are more than one atom. Example - H²O (water) two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
To stay on a fuel theme......
Natural Gas - CH⁴ , one carbon four hydrogen.
