IAG is trying to come up with a solution. The plastic piece can wedge between the hood and windshield, and with hood struts they’ve heard of two Broncos where the windshield has broken.

Just removing the bar won’t give you a functional advantage- you would have to disengage the rear window sides every time you wanted to get “full” access to the back. The IAG lift system gets that bar out of your way quickly for storage access with your windows left in place.

I love mine. My dealer (Two Rivers Ford) used my customer cash and paid for my pods, a level lift kit, and installation for both. A welcome surprise when I was expecting to pay extra for both.

The floor heat ducts for my back seats didn’t clear the openings in my washout floor covering. I adjusted them and it works fine.

It’s probably just how it is installed. I wired the amp in my first car, got the engine wine and that was in the mid 90s- no cars had fake engine noise then. A pro audio installer fixed it.

I ordered a hardtop in February 2021, switched in September and got my Badlands Sasquatch 2.7, lux with towing on November 20. Happy I did it.

My B&O sub sounds great, but it rattles the soft top frame at mid volume levels. I’ll get a better feeling for it when it warms up and I can drop the top. It’s also another reason why I can’t wait to buy a hardtop.
