  1. Just removed hard top for 20th time. Observations & tips

I like using the sides as the support vs running the straps back through the window. How do you get the top off the truck running the straps in the side-to-side direction? I wanted to go that way, but it would require my straps to go through the rollbars, and then I can't lift it all the way...
  2. RH4x4: Bronco6G SportDeck Cargo Basket

I like how you don't have to remove it to take on/off the HT. I have the another version and although I like it, it is definitely a pain to take on and off each time. Nicely done, and the price is decent too.
  3. Full-Sized Cargo Rack Shelf (Hooke Road) Review

Took the Bronco with the rear cargo shelf camping this weekend up to the Sierras and it worked great. It gave me access to the cooler and storage container, while still keeping tent, clothes, etc up top. I was able to fit a folding table and my cooler under one side as well.
  4. Recommendation for moderate off-road trail in SoCal

Could you be so kind as to throw in a google map of the entry point to this? I’ve tried (I think) this trail before and was geared by a gate, with no indication that it was the right place. Thanks!!
  5. Hard top question... put front panels on without the main rear?

I had all of my panels off, but it got sunny so I put just the front ones on without the mid or rear, and it worked just fine at all speeds. I didn't try the middle section, but I've seen other posts in here with folks doing it. They didn't seem to have problems. Would be good to be able to...
  6. Recommendation for moderate off-road trail in SoCal

I tried the Maple Springs Road too a few months back and there was a gate that said we couldn't go any further. So, I took a 2 hour RT drive for nothing lol. Was it the same road where you had to drive through a 2-lane road through a small-town looking place?
  7. Full-Sized Cargo Rack Shelf (Hooke Road) Review

It’s been great. It did add some extra time when I took off the HT, but after putting it back on (with the top off), it adds some extra security in the back and keeps stuff from flying around. However, I noticed the bolts are rusting a lot. I contacted them and haven’t received any new bolts...
  8. Grille LED letters and smoked taillight installed

Yup, I've seen quite a few guys on here do that too. Removing the current 3rd brake light is pretty easy, there are a lot of videos out there too if you get stuck. It's a pretty quick job. Good luck!
  9. Recommendation for moderate off-road trail in SoCal

I don't like all trails, it seems to be mixed with hiking trails too much. I use "OnX offroad", the Bronco one isn't mature enough, not enough content.
  10. Grille LED letters and smoked taillight installed

I think it looks great with the Oxford White! Nice job. What are your plans for the 3rd brake light? I DIY’d my 3rd light and also attached a rear spot to it for under $100. Let me know if you want some details. The top is the brake light and the bottom is my rear spot.
  11. Rear dome lights: OE replacement LEDs brighter than 3 light contraption???

Here’s the link to the 2-Door version of the mabett light that people have been asking for. https://www.amazon.com/BEEGROW-Rear-Ceiling-Accessories-Light/dp/B0BWN3QHTK
  12. Recommendation for moderate off-road trail in SoCal

There’s a lot of trails in Big Bear too. Unfortunately, most trails seem to be 2+ hours drive away from OC. There’s always Joshua Tree as well. @7sKnuckledragger would love to hear what you think.
  13. Recommendation for moderate off-road trail in SoCal

Yeah looks like it is High Point Truck Trail and then we took it to Palomar Divide up to High Point (the peak) and took Palomar Divide back down the mountain. It was great!
  14. Recommendation for moderate off-road trail in SoCal

Yeah, me son and I did this trail last month, it was on the back side of Mt. Palomar. It was maybe 22 miles or so and it took us all the way up to the top (6,100 ft). Bring your lunch, there’s some picnic tables at the top.
  15. Rear dome lights: OE replacement LEDs brighter than 3 light contraption???

I broke one of the metal clips taking out the ceiling one, but the cargo area one wasn’t a problem and it came out easily. I didn’t care about breaking the OEM one anyway since it sucks so bad and I’m putting new ones in. I went with the mabett one btw. Oh and I saw a 2-door version of the...
  16. Rear dome lights: OE replacement LEDs brighter than 3 light contraption???

Here’s a link for two of them for $54. https://www.amazon.com/DKMGHT-Accessories-Courtesy-Illumination-Decoration/dp/B0C1RMNCNK Why two you may ask? You use one for the ceiling and one for the cargo area. Seems great. Would love to hear if anyone installed them. Oh, and it’s 4 or 2 Door too :)
  17. Door sill protection - full edge

I can confirm that there is plenty of room under the door so that it doesn't rub against these protectors. So far they have been great, nothing coming off, scratching, etc and they still look great after 6 months of use.
  18. Ford Power-Up 4.2.2 Softare , Anybody Get It Yet?

Same here, got mine yesterday. No rhymtor reason for who gets it amd when. Forget about knowing what was actually updated. I’d be fired if i released software like that, but I guess it’s all part of the secret sauce.
  19. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

Sure you could wrap the straps around the middle panel while it is still on the truck and hoist it on up. I now have the HT and the middle panel being held up with this hoist system. I have the front pieces in their bags.
  20. Antenna relocation kit for installing Roof Top Tents while keeping Sirius XM Radio?

I don't get it. I have a HT and from what you guys are saying, it sounds like it wouldn't work with my HT on. But I haven't had any issues.
