39 is still too high, especially for the rear. Even at 33, my factory KO2 outer tread blocks don’t fully contact the ground. I’d rather have better traction, better tire wear and a better contact patch for braking than a shitty ride and a .7 MPG improvement.

Either they don’t know what rail dust is or that was something entirely different. This is easily resolvable by a professional detailer, as others have said.
