Bingo... That's exactly what it was.
With 70k on the truck it would of been $2700..... fortunately the ford extended warranty covered it less a $100 deductible.
wow, could be more serious than I was thinking.... I'll update when I find out.... thx everyone...
Now we'll see if that extended ford warranty I bought from Grainger is worth anything lol.....
my 22' raptor is leaking oil from the back of the engine. I noticed a puddle underneath and it seems to be coming from the backside of the engine and it was a quart low. Its all over the skid plate that covers the tranny, not the front skid plate.
Anyone else have an issue like this??
removing mine was one of the first things I did..... and how nice it is to actually see out the rear window lol....
I went with the ring inside the spare, works great, very bright etc....
Yes they do..... I was going to adjust the steering stops a little when it gets warm out. I don't rub often but they will when the wheel is cranked all the way...
Make sure your roof panels are seated properly, inspect the seals. Keep in mind wind noise will always be a thing on a flying brick with a fiberglass top....
Same, really woke up my 12' raptor. I like that you can adjust the response level too. Whipple did a great job addressing throttle response in the tune I'm running on my Braptor.
I used to live in Evergreen Co, beautiful place, BUT the western slope and southern part of the state are HOT in the summer. Be prepared for a huge cost of living increase too. Colorado can't raise taxes without a vote so they charge fee's for everything instead, including hefty sales tax...
To me, the FJ cruiser is to off road vehicles what the PT cruiser is to roadsters..... Having owned 4 scouts back in the day VW has done exactly what Toyota did to the FJ40 and what Chevy did to the blazer. This reminds me more of a Subaru station wagon than a good ole Scout (notice the top...
Back in 22' I was originally after a Raptor-R but decided I wasn't going to pay the 40k or more markup on top of the 130k price. I have to admit my Bronco has proven to be more fun than any pickup would be.... so, I hung onto my old gen 1 raptor and never looked back.....
When I was younger and a friend of mine had a cj7 and we smart asses parked it on top of a absolutely HUGE pile of snow the plows had stacked in the corner of the bar parking lot. Went inside, had some beers, played pool....came out 3 hours later and realized it had gotten warm and rained a...
Those are 4" auxbeam off amazon, I wanted a smaller size that was still very bright. For the price I can replace them 8 times for the price of other systems. They've been pretty reliable so far.
