This particular thread is not the place to discuss this, and I'm always willing to discuss this subject, feel free to start a specific thread or PM me and I'll be happy to discuss. I'll give you a small bit of our logic:
Capitalism is the the chosen market function in the US. Without...
Feel free to check my post history and the reputation we have around here. Those markups aren't for you, they're for non-order/reservation holders that want to buy a bronco right now. All of our order and reservation holders are MSRP or less (save for non-handraiser Raptors).
I'm in a market that shouldn't be catering to Bronco, yet we're thriving with them. I am in a market that should be thriving in Mach Es, but those have tanked. My cancellation rate on Mach E is really high, and Bronco really low.
You're right that I'm one data point, but I'd venture a guess...
Yes, except for Heritage
Open, only Heritage is closed
Please see the above.
Some dealers are limiting their orders based on their available allocation. It's easier to say they're closed than to explain the process to the average guest.
Anecdotally, we had very few cancellations over the...
2-3k for the lockers alone is worth it. Sure you lose the B/O Sound and Adaptive, but still worth it IMO. Badlands Sasquatch will always be desirable in the secondary market.
Pull the trigger, $3k over is nothing if it's close to the build you want. The MSRP is only going up, $3k over a year ago is less than MSRP for some 2023 configurations.
You really gonna miss that $3k more than you're going to enjoy the right Bronco?
Hey Jeddi,
Sean @ Serramonte Ford
We have a handful available. Our inventory system doesn't differentiate between stock and custom ordered, so we show 20 on the website, but only a handful available.
Right now, these units are available:
PP0283 Badlands Azure Gray, Auto/Lux/Sasquatch/Hard...
@WheelMe I think he means availability. @MJBbase22 you could try our service department (Serramonte Ford). There is a TSB for this, but I don't know what the availability is for the part though.
Good job Barry! Nice build, well thought out. I'm super impressed with the auxiliary battery system. Surprised he went with and aftermarket light switch board when the factory one is so easy to wire.
Thank you for this post.
Couple notes:
Private offer = Rebate. There are public incentives and private incentives, both are rebates though.
Price protection:
There are two kinds depending on what's being compensated for.
Retail Price Protection:
Price changes after an order was placed, but...
It's probably the wheels since it doesn't appear that Heritage is affected by Sasquatch limitations, the difference is in the beadlock wheels, Heritage has a unique wheel that is not beadlock capable.
This is the tire/wheel options on Badlands:
Wheels
Standard 17" Alloy comes with a 33" tire...
You're wrong there. The rebate must be applied to the ordered unit. You cannot take a price protection rebate to a different VIN. Additionally, "Retail Price Protection" is also tied to the order.
"Eligible customers must place a new 23MY retail order and take delivery of their ordered vehicle...
There are constraints, but Ford is not stopping production on those options, that's what Chapman is saying.
I didn't see the side notes yet, will have to go back and look at them
