People don't understand the absolute headache trying to integrate aftermarket audio on newer cars..... if you haven't tried in the past 2 or 3 years and expect to be able to go in during an afternoon (remember the plastic "templates" for the dash?!!... yea those don't work) you have a whole lot...

and @ Designkid After B&P im going to dangle my order (either a loaded WT or BL) and see what they might do... also bring the group buy to their attention. Maybe deaf ears (no comms after my first questions) but worth a try

I read the T&C of the warranty and it seems the maintenance only has to be done with perfect records according to the manufacturers specs in the owners manual.... so it doesn't have to be at their facility just the annual inspection at their site See below

@EvlNvrDys I just want to take a moment and thank you for your work with all this. I can honestly say I'm excited again after the x-plan debacle and this thread has helped that 100% - also thank you for everyone that has contributed. OK - now back to work we need the best deal we can get!!!

One thing is that its my understanding we will be able to add some accessories to the actual sticker (thus financing etc. the whole "deal").... this should make it invoice for anything on there.. I would think... maybe i missing something?

my 2 cents - get your B&P summary and start shopping with all your local dealers. Use the chart on the first page as your reference to start with......... in the case of a FE you may need to travel a bit My big worry for all us is the bait and switch at the time of delivery seen with the C8...

When I start shopping with my B&P summary (loaded WT is the plan unless loaded BL makes more sense - so it will be at the top $ for them) I plan on giving the link to this thread and mention that they need to see the list on the first post (thank you EvlNvrDys) ... should show how serous we are...

If I'm reading correctly that's actually better as you can "go local" for the service and still be covered. I'm at 60 miles and it would be a PIA to get anything done where I have to leave the vehicle, I will cover all the details of this when I follow up and let everyone know

60 miles from me.... AAA towing is up to a 100 miles.... now if we get confirmation on no added BS then the x-plan debacles might not look so bad. After B&P I will follow up as well. Thanks for posting!!! What's the name of the manager?
