Dammit! Those steelies look great. I was 99% getting Sas, now I’m 50%. I can live with adding 33’s on those steelies and call it a day. I need more pics...
Thanks for sharing. I don’t think the Detroit parade is televised in the NE, so it’s cool to see another part of the country.
Honestly, our bronco6g members do a way better job showcasing real life pics of the Bronco than Ford. Ford really need to step up in December considering ordering banks...
I’ve debated this, but ultimately decided on the BD to stay within budget and check the most boxes that I wanted.
Comes down to how much do you want to spend or what you can live without?
I’m now taking a hard look at carbonized grey. I was in the Area 51 camp, with Oxford White as my backup. Carbonized grey looks good with the mic top. It’s the sleeper color that’s not getting a lot of attention but I think it will hold up very well over time.
I debated this, but decided on adding the Sas and mid package. I do agree, it’s the best bang for your buck trim and the steelies are cool.
I was set on Area 51, with White as my backup. After much debate today pissing off everyone around me, I’m now leaning towards carbonized grey which is...
That’s not a bad way to go. I’m actually a fan of the standard headlights, so that hasn’t swayed me one way or the other.
my second option is to not go Sas and look for wheels/tires aftermarket. BD has the rear locker which is all I need.
Third option is to go basic BL, with standard package...
I keep circling back to my original build:
BD 4 door, A51, mid, Sas, tow, mic - approx $50,100 before any discounts.
I feel like it’s the best combo of options on most competitive trim. They really do lure you in with the Sas and mid-package. Damn it!
I like it! Yeh I’ve seen white wranglers with the bronze wheels and they look great.
If I was going to go aftermarket wheels/tires...my build:
BD 4 door, Area 51, MIC hardtop(debating going soft), roof rails, brush guard, mid, 2.7, tow. I’m at $45,475 before discounts. Leaves plenty Of time to...
Haha, I’m now at this point. If I go BL, I can keep it simple...4 dr, soft top, grey ring wheels, 2.7, tow, standard package.
I’m under $50k with a solid truck. Can always add to it later.
I’m debating on passing on the mid-package myself. Only items I want are heated seats and remote start. I can get remote start aftermarket and live without heated seats.
Going without mid also has me thinking about going up to Badlands with the 33’s and staying within budget.
I need to see more real life pics of the BD 4 door with and without the Sas. It’s a unique trim that has the potential to look great either way and also be a very capable all around vehicle.
Yeh, no matter how I cut it, I’m at $50k with my build. Ford did a great job marketing this thing, with all (too many) options, you’re almost forced to buy up in trims or packages to have your rig resemble what you see from marketing and love about the bronco. BD is definitely my trim...adding...
Great comments, and cases made for both options. I do feel like if I don’t get the Sas package, I’ll be kicking myself later after seeing it in person. My buddy has 33’s on his JL wrangler 4 dr and it looks ??. Jumping up to BL doesn’t work for what I want, and my build with Sas compared to same...
I’ve seen a lot of post comparing trims as we get closer to December. Lots of great comments and advice.
my dilemma comes down to getting BD with or without Sasquatch. I like the looks of 35’s, but my rig will spend most of its time on road. My build is $50k with Sasquatch, which is higher than...
I was pretty much sold on the BD, however a basesquach with the 2.7, MIC top, heavy duty bumper w/ bash guard, aux switches gets me to almost everything I want except the MGV seats, mid package and Area 51. Also saving over $5k. I can add auto start aftermarket for $200 and will be content with...
I’m in the BD camp. I’m pretty sure I’m going with the Sasquatch package, but the price does sting a little when you add everything up. I feel like if I went aftermarket, I’ll either pay more down the road, or compromise on some things resulting in just being pissed for not doing Sas from the...
