I think it’s a simple answer. If she’s willing to learn, teach her. If not, don’t teach her. Forcing someone to learn something they have no interest in learning will just end badly.
Yeh, I’ve been talking about the bronco since the concept came out 10-15 years ago. She knew I wouldn’t shut up about it unless she let me get it.
Funny thing is I’ve been talking about quads for years too. I’ve had several motorcycles over the years and still have one in the stable, so she’s...
Jealous, I want a quad! I need to wait until after I get the bronco before I try to sell the quad idea to the wife.
I’ll be outside later with my blower with a tear slowly freezing down my face thinking about plows on quads.
Finally got my email confirmation from Ford today and my sales rep at Brewster finally responded and confirm everything is in good order.
The summary on the confirm email doesn’t list everything, but I was assured my order matched the build sheet from the dealer.
Time to sit back and enjoy...
@MVtech Same boat as you. I’m still waiting for my order confirmation from Ford as well. Called Ford and all they see is that my order was placed 1/19, which was before I ordered. Couldn’t provide any other details and said to follow up with the dealer.
Spoke to my sales rep at Brewster over a...
Nice! Still waiting for my confirmation email from Ford. Order was finalized on Tues. Emailed my sales rep yesterday to find out what’s up, just waiting to hear back.
Heard back from my sales rep. He’s not sure what the Advertising Assessment charge is, but it’s from Ford and cannot be removed.
Glad those FordPass reward points Ford gave us for our support and patience will help offset this fee. Wait a minute...?
Agreed and thank you @Johnny Mo ! Great deal and dealer experience so far. Just pointing out a few detailed items others may also question so we’re all informed.
$250 is a new bike rack
correct. $250 is nothing to ignore, that’s a new bike rack. Make sure you ready everything in detail and don’t feel like you need to rush. Trust me, Ford and the dealer want your business.
Yes. The Ford order summary is itemized and shows MSRP vs Invoice with each option chosen in you build. The AA charge shows $0 as MSRP, but $251 as invoice. I want to know what the F that is. These random fees will eat away at the total invoice savings.
Mine show $41.40 Fuel Charge; $251 Advertising Assessment. This is shown on the Ford order summary and factored into the total invoice price. So that number is then carrier over to the dealer purchase order which is why your math may be off.
Either way, I want to know what that charge is for...
Thanks. That makes sense. I received both from Brewster as well and was questioning what it was for. I’ll play along since we received a great deal from a great dealer.
