Great thread all. I've been wondering about this for some time now, and it now looks like my plan may work. I have a 4dr build scheduled, and I wanted a roof rack that could go between that Bronco, and my Gen1 Bronco as well, for which I already have a crossbar system.

So, no way to utilize the Bronco's rear facing camera in this system?

Did you use the provided rear view camera, or were you able to integrate the Bronco rear view camera into the rearview mirror system? Herb

I didn't see when the survey was conducted. The answers 12-18 months ago, are probably not the same as the answers would be 3-6 months ago as inflation really hit hard.

Couldn't agree more about MFCs. I have a number of them, and won't use anything else. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this. My path forward will either be this setup, or a bumper mounted spare tire carrier/MFC carrier. Herb

My concern is a solid, non-flexible flare impacting an immovable object, and that force causing my fender to deform. The flares on my Gen1 Bronco has some degree of flexibility in them that provides some level of impact absorption. I've run plenty of tight trails where this is important.

I really like these, but my only concern would be if the flares impacted a rock or tree on a trail. If that happens, I have some concern that the fender itself could sustain some damage. Great idea and great execution.

I'm thinking its closer to the time I bought the Brooklyn Bridge while I was in NY.

I'm not a fan of sheet metal screws, but it does have me wondering where you screwed them in to, to secure the flaps.

I hesitant to mess with my order.

Now I'm getting greedy, I'm seeing people scheduled with the Tow Package, and I left it off to avoid that constraint, but I'm scheduled so I'm happy. I'll go aftermarket, but I haven't been impressed with my local U-Haul installing hitches.
