  1. Stripped Hardtop Thread from Factory - Suggestions ?

When you first removed the one factory bolt, did you inspect the threads? That would give a lot of insight.
  2. Is winch required on a Bronco Badlands when off-roading alone?

A winch is great, IF you know how to use it. A winch can cause serious damage, and serious injury if you don't know how to use it properly. This also includes having a proper winch mount on your bumper, proper electrical connections for the winch, and proper recovery gear.
  3. Bronco Raptor has arrived, FINALLY - Flip it or keep it?

Is the offer from a private party or a dealer? If a dealer, I would sell it to them at $25K AOM (Added Owner Markup) with the provision that they sell you another Bronco you would settle for, at MSRP. Herb
  4. 📬 2023 Bronco production scheduled build emails now going out! Gets yours yet?

My Window Sticker was made available today. Blend date of Dec 12, 2022. I've gone over and over the window sticker to make sure there are no surprises (not that I could change it) and it all looks good and right.
  5. 📬 2023 Bronco production scheduled build emails now going out! Gets yours yet?

Would the Build Day be sent to me in a Ford email? I don't have a Build Day as far as I know.
  6. 📬 2023 Bronco production scheduled build emails now going out! Gets yours yet?

If I look at Ford's VIN and Customer Order number tracker, it says my Bronco is in production (earlier than the claimed week of 12 Dec)., It also says I should look at my Window Sticker, but when I go to that link, "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for...
  7. Best Dash Cam Set Up Installed! We need them nowadays ------------

I was wondering how this dashcam is going to be installed. Double-sided tape stuck to the windshield, or something else? How about the rear camera?
  8. How vulnerable is Bronco's catalytic converter to theft ?

Can't hurt, but I don't see how it diminishes a cat's value, since the people buying the cat's, and then exporting them overseas for extraction of the precious metals are not concerned about laws in the first place. It's not like honest people are stealing them.
  9. Looking for the elusive tan soft top.

Here's a pic of my first gen Bronco with a tan soft top. Wouldn't mind having a tan painted MIC hard top on my (future) Badlands. Herb
  10. MagnaFlow Joins Bronco 6G

Good info, thanks. Do these options just change the exhaust note, or do they also change the available exhaust flow rate?
  11. Bronco photo poster with wild bronco horse -- anyone else received this gift from Ford?

No bet, especially as I did get a VIN and build week supposedly next month. That said, I know from here that my Bronco being built doesn't imply I'll see it anytime soon.
  12. Bronco photo poster with wild bronco horse -- anyone else received this gift from Ford?

Haven't received anything from Ford, including my Bronco, but then again, I only placed my order at the beginning of the calendar year.
  13. What size are the tires in the Builder?

Are the tires/wheels too big, or the Bronco too small?
  14. Winches - Converting from wire to synthetic.

No need to go with a Hawse fairlead, provided the rollers are smooth. I talked with two winching experts, and both preferred roller fairleads with synthetic line.
  15. Waited 654 days to get her...only to have her taken away by someone else's inability to drive 3 weeks later

Absolutely. If your Bronco does get repaired,. make sure you get compensated for the decreased resale value of the vehicle. A vehicle's resale value is definitely negatively impacted by a crash, so you deserve to be compensated for that. They will probably not "offer" it to you, you'll have to...
  16. Is this worth having the top replaced?

So it sounds like you already have the issue documented with your local dealer, is that right? That's the most important thing, in case of the problem getting bigger. Personally, I'd take VERY detailed photos, and measurements of the crack and wait to see if it spreads, as long as you are still...
  17. No gas cap, and dusty roads

That's what happens when you have months and months to think about a Bronco that still hasn't shown up. Seriously though, I have a Police Interceptor and an Excursion, and dust, and water, gets behind the fuel door.
