This is the main reason I ordered my wife's Bronco with the SAS package, although I'll likely never need it. It will be all OEM during the warranty period.
Understood, but the point is that tariffs imposed on imported items won't really lower the prices for the end consumer, they will simply enrichen the domestic corporation. I would say, that's one of the big reasons elon "invested" in the candidacy...
I used to call this the Walmart effect, people here have been conditioned to equate wealth to owning a ton of useless low quality shit, and the buying of something for barely anything, making sellers like Temu, Sheen, Aliexpress, etc. so rich.
Funny how Mabett is the most popular aftermarket seller in this forum... (nothing wrong with the seller, I have a few of his products, but we all know they are not made in the USA).
Pricing strategy, for the sake of argument let's say that the Bronco is 100% made in the US with 100% US sourced materials but the Wrangler isn't so the Wrangler's new base MSRP is $50k. Ford can increase their price to $49,999 and still be able to compete in the market. Ford's increase won't...
As the owner of a 2023 Base 2 door V6 Sasquach, I can only thank Ford for making mine that much more rare. Now, I can't crash it because I will be shit out of luck!
I understand your point, I saw an old video of extractors vs. drain from a Mercedes technician and he debunked that myth. I also change the oil every 3k miles so I don't expect any debris, I know it's too early but I only spend around $40 using Pennzoil Platinum.
On my boat, I also use the...
I just changed the oil a few minutes ago and this is how much is left in the pan using the extractor. Do I need to remove the steel skid plate to get this, no, but I'll continue to do it just to inspect.
The cartridge is not any cheaper TO YOU, it's much cheaper and profitable for Ford.
I hate the drain plug if you are changing your oil at home, 6 quarts of oil drained in a few seconds splashes everywhere. I use an extractor and just remove the last few ounces through the drain plug. It takes...
Just so you are clear, your "base" headlights are also LED, just a different design. If you are going for a different design, that's fine, if you want better illumination, the signature headlights won't be any different.
My dealer has never charged me extra for an oil change! Oh wait, I've never taken the thing to a dealer. I fear the day I have to. I have the driveshaft clunk at slow speed that so far has no solution, and I want the windows to drop a little when unlocked from the fob but that's a problem for...
Careful with the dealer denying you any engine warranty work because of this, they will see it as a modification of the lubrication system. I know about the Magnuson Moss act, the dealer can deny the warranty and it will be up to you to defend your point.
I don't know about that, at one point I had three vehicles, all 2 door, all with manual transmissions and two of them convertibles.
I never purchased a vehicle with a manual transmission because of how it made me feel (I've never understood the "better connection" or "more control" statements...
