I installed a Bestop Sunrider on our 2 door. Best decision. Removing the T Tops was a pain and too much work for a 5 minutes drive (wife's commute is 3 miles each way). Definitely a little noisier than the plastic panels for long trips but we don't use the Bronco for those.

Any manufacturer would love to have their brand or name as an eponym. That's on Ford's and other manufacturer's fault to not be able to create a product that would compete with Jeep for so many years...

in 2005 I bought a large scooter and rode it from Miami to San Francisco and back. There is absolutely no way I would do anything even close to that nowadays. I don't even own a motorcycle anymore, I just buy convertibles now for the open road experience.

I actually bought this for my JK once and sold it without even installing it. It basically reduced the practicality of the vehicle with zero benefits. It was easier to drop the soft top than to take all this off.

The single panel would be a better idea as it would reduce the leaks and noise compared to the T tops. But honestly, after having the Sunrider flip top, I would never go back to solid tops.

I wonder if Slate can pull off a non cracking, non leaking hard top cap as a startup company...

I heard Ford is working on a new version of the 2 door Bronco for 2026, It will be called, the Ford Unity to Customers (or F.U. Customers). It will be a 2 door (obviously) colored in rust (a special treatment will be done to the aluminum panels), but it will have no top, no interior, no engine...

Yes, I forgot about that one. One of my nephews has a 2012 Boss 302 in that color.

"Time to make noise" I don't know man, my MIC top is pretty noisy by itself, I don't think it needs any help on that! After 60-70 mph, the deafening wind noise enters the chat!

CO is much better looking than the pastel yellow. Ford is very clear: Cyber Orange = darker yellow Hot Pepper Red = Orange Clear as mud!
