I was thinking traction control cutting power as well. Mine is pretty loosey goosey though. Lets me slide it around quite a bit. May be different with the auto.

Manufacturers can also just ignore issues and not issue recalls. At least Ford issues recalls so they can tape up your shocks and fill your spare tire with concrete, or whatever they do 😂
