That build looks perfect. Clean and simple, I like it! Yeah the tire upsize is going to show a hit in the MPG's, but don't forget to add back 10% to whatever the computer is showing you. Besides, the smiles per gallon are worth it!
I used to put my old silverado half ton in 4A all the time in the rain. It made pulling out in traffic and getting off the line in the wet much quicker and confident in a pickup with a light back end. I haven't had a 4A in a long time, but I'd imagine it would be the same. 2wd most of the time...
Agreed on the warranty being a buying constraint. Not that this warranty problem is just a Ford thing, but this will be my first second Ford product in 25 years. We bought a new RV with the new Ford F-53 chassis. It finally it went in to get some original/initial issues from our shakedown run...

The MIC top was a $695 Add Delta to whatever they assume the Webasto soft top was/is worth, about $1,600-2,000ish if I recall. Wasn't in the 4 door camp, so I didn't pay too much attention to the price options between hard, soft, both options.
Or...
option a: Get the vinyl soft top and keep your MIC top order, and get it when they figure it out. They can opt to charge for the headliner again. $0-500 add option.
option b: Forgo MIC hard top, get the twill bestop $0-500 credit
option c: Forgo MIC hard top, get the vinyl bestop...
